𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐎 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃 at the Palais Mermonia in order to see what progress was being made by her children and Y/N. She was quick to notice Lynette and Freminet standing outside of the building, peering through a window. It amused her greatly how they somehow managed to sneak through the multiple Gardes littered around. She had taught them well.

"Is everything going according to plan?" She asked lowly as she approached the pair. Her heels scraped along the concrete floor, burning flames in their wake.

When she recieved no answer, she grew impatient. After all, she despised having to ask twice.

"Father..." Was all that came from Lynette. She sounded bewildered, confused - shocked, even. Alarm bells immediately rung in Arlecchino's head. Lynette, sounding frightened? That couldn't possibly be good.

"What is it?" She ordered as she peered over the siblings' shoulder.

Her crimson eyes widened at the sight unfolding in front of her.

She certainly wasn't expecting to witness that.

"Oh, my..." Was all that tumbled from Arlecchino's lips as she watched the unexpected scene play out.

"Well, that certainly wasn't part of the plan..." She continued in a whisper, debating whether or not she should shield Freminet's eyes.

"Father, what if this ruins everything? This action alone could cause the whole mission to crumble." Explained Freminet in a distressed tone, feeling Arlecchino place her claws onto his shoulder. He wasn't too sure if she did so in order to steady herself from shock, or if she did so as an attempt to comfort him. Knowing Arlecchino, it was probably the first reason.

"You fret too much, Freminet..." She sighed, despite sounding a little unsure herself, which was alien for her. "Whatever this... Odd display of affection we are currently witnessing is, I'm certain that it is all part of the plan."

"We didn't discuss this, though..." Lynette mouthed, concern swirling within her eyes.

Arlecchino hummed in acknowledgement. "That is correct, yet unfortunately there isn't a great deal we can do just yet. I suppose we will just have to wait and see what Lyney and Y/N's next plan of action is."

Frozen.

That was the only word to describe how Y/N was feeling in this current moment. Their body stiffened under Lyney's warm grasp, their heart coming to a halt in their chest. Their thoughts were running a million miles per hour; becoming too much for them to comprehend. Everything around them had gone silent, a deafening silence ringing in their ears. It was as if the whole world had stopped and they were trapped in this dark, consuming void that ravaged all of their senses.
