𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐘𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄 sat in a comfortable silence that engulfed Lynette's cell. A letter had been handed to them earlier by one of the Gardes, and they opened it with eager movements.

"Shouldn't we wait for Lyney before we read it?" Suggested Freminet, a glint of worry appearing behind his pupils.

Lynette subtly rolled her eyes, her fingers already busy with unfolding the letter.

"I have no doubt in my mind that he's snuck off to see Y/N. He can read it when he bothers to return." She sassed with a short huff.

As Lynette finished unfolding the letter, the siblings begun to read the intricate words written on the paper. They visibly relaxed, instantly being able to recognise the handwriting etched across the page.

The letter read;

To my dearest children,

I haven't any idea how each of you managed to get arrested, yet I suppose now is not the time for a lecture. However, as soon as you are out of the Fortress, I shall have no choice but to have you all brush up on your skills. Quite frankly, it is not good enough.

I do hope all is well for the most part. I'm told that you are currently waiting to hear what the Ideux himself has to say? If that is the case, I would suggest just waiting your time out within the Fortress. You should be out of there in no time, as in my eyes, none of you did anything crime worthy.

Moving on, there is one matter in particular I would like to discuss with the three of you. It is about Y/N and their safety, hence why I did not address this letter to them also.

I do not wish for them to feel alarmed by this news (though I understand that may be difficult for them), yet a certain Doctor is unfortunately on his way to the Fortress. What he plans to do or how he will try and get in is beyond me, yet I've never quite understood how his twisted mind works in all honesty.

Do not fret, I didn't give him my approval on this matter. In fact, I tried my very best to convince him otherwise, yet I'm sure you're all aware of just how stubborn that wretched man can be. Even using violence against him didn't stop him. Unfortunately, these next steps will be down to all of you.
