Christina Robinson first appeared in Season Two, episode One 'The 37's' before going onto make "guest" appearances in Season Two and now she's going to become a main character, as she's the Chief Science Officer and love interest for B'Elanna Torres.
She was originally going to become a main character in season four, however I changed my mind as I knew I wanted her for B'Elanna's love interest. Another thing I changed about Christina was my plan for her species, she was originally going to be half Betazoid half Vulcan and have Amanda's job as "Assistant Chief Engineer".
I had an idea for Christina but she wasn't the Christina my readers love (I hope you do love Christina) and I reckon a Vulcan/Betazoid would sense B'Elanna's dislike of being half Klingon whereas a Human would know but not the extent of B'Elanna's hatred of being half Klingon.
Anyway, rant and Christina's origin story over also expect this kind of chapter for season four/five and season seven.
