BEYONCE SAT AT THE COUNTRY CLUB WITH Solange, playing a game of checkers. She cheered, clapping her hands together when she moved her red piece over Solange's last piece, ultimately winning the game. "And I win again, give me my money."

"I can't believe this. You're a damn thief." Solange rolled her eyes, playfully. She dug into her wallet and pulled out another $5, handing it to her older sister. Beyonce grabbed the bill, finishing the last of her sprite.

When they spotted Josy walking through the club, her lips stretched into a smirk as she finished her drink. "You hear what happened with her? She cheated on Micheal."

"Well, that doesn't sound right." Solange turned her hair, her eyes narrowing in confusion. "Josy held a lot of love for Micheal and she's an active member of the church. I mean, she's a literal angel. She would never do something to hurt someone."

"Well, Lord knows how much she loves to get down on her knees."

She smiled mischievously, standing up from the table and walking towards her. Josy stood at a standing table, reviewing her checklist for the senior dance night that was planned for later tonight. Suddenly, the pair collided and Solange shook her head, watching her sister bother the other woman.

"Josy," Beyonce said, acting surprised. "I heard about what happened with Micheal. I just want to say I'm truly sorry. If you ever need someone to lean on, you know I'm right here."

"That's really sweet, Beyonce. Honestly, I appreciate you being a friend. When the news broke out that I allegedly cheated, some of my acquaintances couldn't even look me in the eye."

"That is terrible. Why don't we get some brunch sometime? I don't think you should be alone." The truth was Beyonce didn't care if Josy was depressed or not. She just wanted to know how she operated so she could be better. And the only way of doing that... well, it was becoming her close friend.

"Yeah, I'd love that."

"Okay," Beyonce smiled, touching her arm. "Feel better."

She returned to her table, immediately hearing her sister's voice. "What was that about?"

She shrugged and her sister raised her right eyebrow, leaning back in her chair. "I bet you're happy she cheated."

"Of course. She betrayed him." She hummed, glancing back. "And now, I'm going to take her spot. Did you know, he and I went to the beach yesterday as our first date? It was beautiful. He is such a damn flirt."
