           (Madison's point of view)

Denny, me, and the girls fell asleep on the couch. We woke up two hours later at 8:30 a.m.

"Good morning, again." He said, smirking at me.

"Good morning, handsome." I said, winking at him.

He looked at me surprised, "I'm handsome now?"

I smiled, "You always have been."

"Why thank you...." he paused, " You're beautiful, you know that?"

I smirked, looking at Sophia in my arms.

"Thanks."  I replied to him, blushing.

After a couple minutes of silence, Denny sighed. He looked at me, "I got to get ready. But I don't want to."

                "Why?" I asked him.

"Because I like sitting here with you, Sophia, and Taylor. I could sit like this forever." He said, leaning his head back.

........... "Are we moving too fast?" I asked him.

"I don't know. What do you think?"

.... "I think we are both heartbroken.... But I've realized that Danny was right. I don't think either of us ever really loved each other. I think we tried to make it work primarily because of Sophia. I also think it was because we both had lost people we loved in the same car accident.... But even though our relationship only ended yesterday...... I know for a fact that I am in love with you." I told him.

..... "I feel the same way...... I'm sad, but happy that I have you." Denny said, holding my hand.

He sighed again, "I really do have to get ready, though."  He laid Taylor down on the couch next to me and covered her up with a blanket.

Five minutes later, he came out of his bedroom with his fire suit on. He looked incredible. I think I might have been staring at him a little too long, because he looked at me and started laughing.

"Sorry." I said, "I really like the new fire suit."

"Me, too." He said, a smile still plastered on his face.

Gosh, Madison, you're staring again! STOP!

Sophia started to open her eyes.

"Hello, good morning." I said to her. She looked around the room and when she saw Denny she smiled widely.

"Good morning, princess." Denny said to Sophia.

She giggled and waved to him. I put her down and she ran to Denny. He picked her up and she hugged him. He placed a kiss on her cheek and smiled over at me. I blushed as he walked over to me.

"Do you want to go see my Mom? She's already at the merchandise trailer."

"Sure.." I paused, "Does she know about everything that happened yesterday?"

"Yeah. I talked to her last night." He said, looking down.

I stood up and looked at him, "Look at me." I told him. He hesitated and then looked at me, "We are better off without them... They chose to hurt us.... and we can choose to be happy and move on. They don't mean anything to us, okay?" I said to him.
