" what nonsense are you saying" I asked feeling shy
" Not nonsense, call me Habibi" Iqraam said
" No" I said blushing
" Are you shy?" Iqraam asked in a teasing voice making me blush harder
" What shy, I'm not shy" I denied
"Then call me Habibi" he said
" How was your meeting?" I asked awkwardly, changing the subject
" Alhamdulilah, it went well" Iqraam replied
" You're always very busy with work " I remarked
"There'll always be time for you " Iqraam said and I if he ate many sweets today, he was spitting out sweet words
"Habibty " Iqraam said
"Yes" I replied without thinking
" I'm going on a business trip soon" Iqraam said slowly
"Okay, when are you coming back?" I asked
Business trips should be at most a week" In two weeks or more" Iqraam replied surprising me
" Why so long?" I asked
" I'll try to shorten the time and I'll be back before you know it " Iqraam said comfortingly
"Okay, when are you leaving?" I asked
"Tonight, I'm at the airport" Iqraam replied surprising meonce again
"And you told me now only" I said and pouted as if he could see me
" I'm sorry habibty it was a rushed decision" he explained
"Where are you going? " I asked
"To New York" Iqraam said
Woah, it was a few hours from here and the time difference was another issue
" Okay take care of yourself and don't skip any meal, also try to call me whenever you can" I said and realized I sounded like a wife whose husband was going on a business trip
" Okay ma'am, I will, I've got to go now" Iqraam said teasingly
" Alright, safe journey insha' Allah " I said
" Ameen, I love you " Iqraam said
" Sir we're about to take off"
I heard someone say on the other side" I love you too Habibi, bye " I said and cut the call quickly
I placed my hands on my chest, my heart was beating so fast but It felt super sweet, I smiled to myself
"Ya Allah, Please make his trip a safe one and let him come back to me hale and hearty" I made a Dua to Allah subhanahu wata'ala
Very soon I slept off with a smile on my face

I just spoke with my Malika, I smiled once again when I thought of her words
"I love you too Habibi"
