Malika's POV
Six months later
"Iqraam look, a mango" I said pointing at an unripe mango
The mango looked more delicious than the ripe ones
We were currently at the Musa's mansion grounds
Iqraam and I were taking a walk, the doctor advised I take walks since I can't do tiring exercises
My stomach has gotten bigger and I moving around became harder as time went by
I managed to convince Iqraam so he would let me go to the hospital
He was reluctant at first but after our first ultrasound scan, he didn't decline anymore
We even went to the hospital last week
We decided not to check the baby's gender, I wanted an element of surprise even though I was very curious
Mom said it was a girl, saying I behaved like her when she was pregnant for me
I don't care about the gender, children are gifts from Allah and it doesn't matter whether they're boys or girls
Fatima and Amaya are also pregnant
Fatima found out she was pregnant a month after I did so she's five months pregnant now
Ever since she got married to Amir, her joy could not be hidden and was always radiating, Amir really takes care of her and I'm happy for them
Amaya, my dearest sister in-law is three months pregnant, Abdullah was so happy when they found out and I'm also happy for them
I'm going to be a mother and an aunty, is there anything better than that?
"It's unripe" Iqraam stated from beside me bringing me out of thoughts
"I know, it looks delicious" I said and pouted
"I'll get it for you" Iqraam said and made his way to the mango tree
He raised his hand up to bring the branch the mango was on closer and picked the mango with ease
'Perks of being tall' I thought
Iqraam has been by my side and has been taking care of me, not that he wasn't before but he's been so protective and careful about me
He could be annoying sometimes but he was very sweet most of the time
I thank Allah everyday for making me fall in love with him and getting married to him, I'm super lucky
"Here's your mango milady" Iqraam said coming to stand in front of me
"Thank you dear sir" I replied with a smile
"Let's go inside the house" Iqraam said and I nodded
I linked my hand with Iqraam's and we made our way to the house
We got to the living room pretty soon and Iqraam helped peel my mango and cut it into smaller pieces
I asked him to pour milk into the bowl of unripe mango before eating it
"Hmm" I couldn't help but moan at the taste, call me crazy but this tasted good to me
It felt sour but it was satisfying
"Is it good" Iqraam asked, his handsome face scrunched up in disgust
"Mhmm, really good" I hummed and said and Iqraam shook his head
This has happened a few times during my pregnancy, the urge to eat weird things that tasted oddly good
Not only that, my appetite has increased by three times, I eat a lot more now
