Soon it was time for the press conference

A long table that faced the audience was placed on stage and myself and other designers sat behind it

Personnels from different media companies were present

They asked questions one by one and we answered them till the press conference was over

I organized a celebratory dinner for my staffs, models, designers, event planners and everyone who made MO fashion week possible

After dinner, I made my way to my room to, pray Isha and get my luggage, I already packed my box early this morning

I left the room and made my way to the reception to lodge out and then went to the parking lot to get my car and started driving home

I wound down the window and hummed to nasheeds playing in the car as I drove

My car started behaving funny on the way and I decided to park and check it out

I came out of the car and opened the bonnet, but I had no idea what to check

I closed the bonnet and got into the car and ignited the engine

But that didn't work
I tried again and again but it still didn't work

I went to the bonnet again and the more I looked at it the more confused I became

To make things worst, rain started falling and I heard from today's weather forecast that it's going to be really heavy

I loved the rain but being under it wasn't a good idea

I quickly closed the bonnet and got in the car and shut the door but the windows won't go back up

Oh Allah help me!!

I went to the back seat since the window was closed, I picked my phone only to find it dead

A gust of wind blew over and I shivered

I tightened my overcoat around my body and hugged myself to stay warm

The rain continued for Allah knows when and both the driver and passenger's seat were wet, same for everything at the front

I was slightly wet because the wind blew rain over

The rain slowed down and started drizzling and I came down to check the bonnet once again

I checked everything but still didn't know what was wrong

I looked around but there was no one on the road, it must be late at night

I felt cold and started sneezing, my phone is dead, I'm the only one left on this empty road

"Ya Allah, Please keep me safe" I chanted a prayer in my head

I saw a car approaching me and I moved closer and waved, thinking
maybe the person would be kind enough to help me

The car parked close to me and I thanked Allah

A man came down from the car and turned to me

It was Iqraam

He walked over to me and removed his coat, using it to cover me

" Are you okay?" was the first thing he asked with concern laced in his tone and tears pooled in my eyes

" What's wrong with your car?" He asked again

" I don't know, I was driving my car and then it acted funny and I tried to check but then the engine didn't ignite anymore and then the rain started and I couldn't pull up the window and my phone battery ran dead and I couldn't call anyone " by the time I was done explaining tears were streaming down my face like I suffered severe grievances
