It was my bridal shower today and Iqraam's groom shower also
Me and all the girls were dressed in matching outfits the difference was theirs was pink and mine blue
We were having fun, playing games and doing different activities
We were already on Iqraam's island, we got here by helicopter and it had been fun
"Your turn Malika" Amaya said bringing out of thoughts
We were currently in a little forest on Iqraam's island
Camping in the woods was part of the activities I planned out
We were seated in a circle around the camp fire
Making roasted marshmallows and eating it
We were telling funny stories and experiences
"Okay okay" I said and everyone gave me their attention
"There was this day, MO fashion week had just ended and I was on my way home" I started
I told them about my experience on that stormy night
"Oh my, of it wasn't for Iqraam you would have been stranded" Khadijah said shaking her head
"Wallahi" I said
"Thank Allah he arrived there, my phone was dead and I didn't know what to do" I added
We continued with our activities and slept in the woods for the night
_____
"You're so beautiful" Khadijah said adjusting my hijab
"Jazakallah khair darling" I said with a smile
"Wa iyyaki" Khadijah said returning a smile
It was finally the D-Day, my wedding reception was today
All the guests had arrived on the island and everything was set
"You really didn't tell anyone about your dress" Fatima said and I nodded
I decided to make my dress a surprise and the preparations I told them to leave my dress to me
"Iqraam is going to fall head over heels again when he sees you" Amaya said teasingly and I smiled
My dress was pure white in colour, it was like a princess's, so long it left a three meter trail behind
It had rhinestones and pearls embedded in it
It was long sleeved and had corset to tighten around the waist
"You guys are also beautiful " I said looking at them
They're my bridesmaids for today
"We don't dare to out shine the bride" Fatima said and we laughed
We were all dressed up, Fatima did my make up and the rest did theirs
I covered my face with my veil
Soon we were ready to go
I felt quite nervous but nothing like my Nikkah
I can't wait to see Iqraam's expression when he sees me in my dress
I smiled to my self and walked along
Fatima, Amaya and Khadijah helped with my dress
It left a three metres long trail rememberWe got to the entrance of the wedding reception, there my dad stood waiting for me
He was going to walk me to the groom
