Malika's POV
I woke up to see Iqraam holding our little baby in his arms, rocking her to sleep
It was a beautiful sight to see
We should decide a name for my little bun soon
We already picked out names, for boys and girls but the boys name was not useful any longer
"Habibi" I called out sitting up
Iqraam turned and walked over to me with a smile, our baby in his arms
"Mi amore, did you sleep well?" Iqraam asked coming to settle down beside me
"Hm" I hummed in assent with a nod
I looked at the little bundle of joy in his arms
She wasn't sleeping and was wide awake, staring at me with her Azure eyes"She's so beautiful" Iqraam said and I nodded
"What should we name her?" I asked taking our baby girl from his arms
"Malika junior" Iqraam said and I chuckled
"Be serious" I said smacking his arm
"Okay okay, what do you think we should name her" Iqraam said throwing my question back
"Well, since we picked out names, we'll name her whatever she reacts to" I said thinking it was a good idea
"Okay" Iqraam drawled
"Malika junior"
Iqraam called out looking at our little baby expectantly
I smacked his shoulder and Iqraam looked at me with a pout
"How can you bare to name your daughter that" I asked exasperatedly
"What, she looks so cute, just like you" Iqraam said and I stifled my smile
"Sweet talker" I mumbled rolling my eyes
"let's try other names" I said and soon we began calling out names from the ones we picked out waiting for our baby to react to any one of them
"Unaisa" I called out and my baby started crying
"OMG, I think she likes it" Iqraam exclaimed
"I think she's hungry" I deadpanned and unbuttoned my hospital gown to feed our baby
The little one started sucking as soon as her little mouth made contact with her food
"See she's hungry, so am I" I said suddenly feeling hungry
"Our moms are on their way with some food for you" Iqraam said and I nodded
"As Salam alaikum" the door was knocked on
Iqraam stood up and went to open the door
My mom, mother in-law and Fatima's mom walked in with lunch boxes in their hands
I wonder who's gonna eat all that?
"Wa alaikumus Salam" I said with a smile
"My dear daughter" my mom cried out coming over to stand beside me
"Mom, look at your granddaughter" I said and paused
"I want a reward " I said with a pout and everyone laughed
"Okay my darling, I'll think about it" my mom said nodding
"Mooom" I whined
"Okay darling, I'll give you everything you want as long as it's within my capabilities " my mom said with a smile
"For starters, I want your jollof rice and peppered turkey " I said smiling
"You got it darling " my mom said and I smiled wider
"We decided to name her Unaisa" Iqraam said coming to stand beside me
"Hmm, Unaisa Musa, it's wonderful " mother in-law said beaming
" I know right " my mom and Fatima's mom cooed and we all laughed
My mom dished food for me and Iqraam took it from her and started feeding me since my hands were occupied with baby Unaisa
Soon Abdullah and Amaya came in and walked over to me
"Hey Little princess" Amaya greeted baby Unaisa
"How are you feeling?" Abdullah asked looking at me
"I'm better than ever" I replied with a smile
"Hmm" Abdullah hummed and patted my head
"I'm a god mother and aunty" Amaya said and I chuckled
"Of course, have you told Khadijah" I said and asked
"Not yet, I'll announce on the group chat" Amaya said and took her phone put excitedly
"Open up " Iqraam said bringing a spoon to my mouth, and I did as he said
I continued eating while feeding baby Unaisa
I smile happily looking at the new addition to my family that was sleeping in my arms
I thanked Allah and made Duas in my heart for my baby and my family as a whole
Very soon my father and father in-law came in and then the guys, Justin and claud
Fatima and Amir also came to visit me
Everyone gave me and my baby gifts
Anyone could feel the happy atmosphere in the room even from a mile away
