Iqraam's POV
I watched the sleeping beauty in my arms and said Alhamdulilah a thousand times in my heart
I am finally married to my beloved
I know it was already hard for her to leave her family and come to live with me
So I won't rush her at all, we'll take things slow and I'll try my best to control my selfish desires
My thoughts went to earlier this night
It was definitely a bad Idea to make her wear my shirt
It reached right above her knees and her pretty legs were exposed
She came out of the bathroom without her hijab on
She looked so beautiful and alluring and dirty thoughts evaded my mind
Malika can really be a daredevilI remembered how nervous I was earlier today and Abdullah was the one who comforted me
My heart was literally in my throat through out, especially when the Imam asked Malika if she took me as her husband and accepted mahr
My heart only went back to it's place after she said yes
I laid my eyes on her after the Nikkah and Masha'Allah, I was such a lucky man to have got such a beautiful bride
She was so beautiful, my heart fluttered at the sight of her
I remembered her cute expressions while I fed her at lunch
I looked at the wedding band in my ring finger and a smile made it's way to my face
I picked a black diamond ring because Malika liked black a lot
Her smile when I slipped the ring into her finger and when she slipped mine in my finger, it was such a beautiful sight
I remembered telling her dad that we'd give him grandkids soon and chuckled but shut my mouth when my darling stirred in her sleep
She turned in her sleep finding a more comfortable position
I looked at her cute sleeping face and smiled
I remembered her tear stained face and my heart twisted painfully
I vowed to myself to always make her happy and smile always
I closed my eyes and hugged habibty closer and slowly fell asleep
______
I slowly open my eyes and felt a presence beside me, habibty had her four limbs wrapped around me like a koala bear
So cute!!!!
This was definitely worth getting used to
I picked up my phone from the bedside table and checked the time
It was almost time for Fajr
I slowly got up trying my best not to wake Malika up
I made my way to the bathroom to freshen up and performed Wudhu, before going back to the bed to wake Malika up for Fajr prayer
"Get up habibty, time for Fajr" I said caressing her soft cheeks lightly
Malika yawned cutely just like a cat and sat up on the bed
This reminded me of my little surprise for her
"I'm so sleepy"Malika said and indeed her voice sounded sleepy
"I'll carry you " I said and picked her up bridal style, her weight was light so she was easy to carry, I made my way to the bathroom and placed her on the counter
