"SH*T"
Adie's POV
"Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t!" was all I could say. The moment I saw who it was, I panicked, trying to cover myself, which made me turn the shower on.
"Cold! Cold!" Kayla exclaimed.
She was calm, unlike me, who kept moving and making the situation worse.
"Stop moving!" the redhead exclaimed, hugging me so tightly that I couldn't move anymore. She was successful—I froze in place. I became aware of what I could feel, which made me feel hot and embarrassed. I wasn't sure if the liquid on my face was sweat, water, or both. The shower was still running when I slowly looked at her face. She looked embarrassed too but much calmer.
"Adie, bat ka sumisi—" Clay cut herself off, shocked. She saw me and Kayla hugging inside the shower... naked.
I felt Kayla loosen her grip on me, then she shut the glass door, though not too forcefully to break it.
"Calm down, 8th member," Kayla said, looking straight into my eyes. "Look me in the eyes," she continued, then she turned the shower knob to turn it off.
I did what she said. D*mn, those eyes were magnetic.
"Okay... I don't mind if you see my body, but... are you not okay if I see yours?" the redhead said again.
I just shook my head.
"Nakita ko na eh," I heard her mumble. I slightly slapped her but chuckled as well.
"Sige na. I'll close my eyes. Don't enjoy it too much," she joked.
"Hoy! Anong ginagawa niyo?! Bat napakatagal?!" Clay shouted, finally snapping out of her shock.
"Paabot ng towel, pare!" Kayla shouted. I grabbed it for her since her eyes were closed, and without looking, I wrapped it around her body. I thought I saw her swallow hard.
When she was finally out of the shower area, I also wrapped a towel around myself so I could face Clay now. "Pareng Clay, sorry I didn't mean to see your jowa's body," Kayla said while holding onto my friend's shoulder. I saw Maya on the floor, laughing silently but hysterically, like she was possessed.
"Di ko jowa 'yan! Tignan mo lang!" Clay said, then burst out laughing. She had been holding her laughter for too long already.
"Maliligo na ko! Lumabas na kayo!" I shouted at them.
"Ligo well, 8th member," Kayla said, then walked away without looking at me. Cold again.
"Conyo," I mumbled.
"Sana tinuloy niyo na!" Maya shouted, then laughed again.
Once I finished showering, I put on the clothes I was wearing when I came here. I wanted to leave right away because of the embarrassing moment I had with Kayla just a while ago. I managed to go downstairs, but my friends were nowhere to be seen—neither in the living room nor in the kitchen, where Kayla was cooking. I hoped she wouldn't notice me, I prayed.
"They left," Kayla said. Lord, why?
"S-san daw nagpunta?"
"They took my car to pick up Joey. Nasiraan daw," she answered, again, without looking at me. "Let's eat? I warmed the pizza, made iced coffee, and lasagna!"
"No, thank you. I need to go. Pasabi nalang nauna na ako, ha?" I said without stuttering, but then my stomach growled loudly. Please sana di niya narinig.
