I was intrigued about this Cara. Ano kaya itsura niya? Even Clay was excited to see her. And why do I feel jealous?

Adie's POV

We're finally in Tagaytay, and that girl, Cara, said she would just meet us here. We used Kayla's truck since mine was taken by the mechanic. We arrived at Sol Victoria and were greeted by this goddess. She must be Cara. She had ash-grey hair, and her features... she was like a daughter of Angelina Jolie. Pero ang suot niya parang panyo lang that was covering her chest. Di ba siya giniginaw?

"Car, Adie nga pala, our newest friend and hopefully newest member," Kayla introduced me. She gave me an awkward smile and then said, "Cara Green, it's nice to meet you."

"Green?" I blurted out.

"Yeah, she's half American," Kayla said. She was giddy.

The moment Kayla saw Cara, she never removed her hand from her back. She's always touching her.

We were about to enter the restaurant when I heard them laughing and teasing each other. Dudugo na ata tenga ko kaka-English nila.

"Are you not cold? Here, wear my hoodie," I heard Kayla saying. I didn't bother to look at them to see the sweet gesture.

The waiter led us to our table with an overlooking view. We were supposed to have coffee only, but Cara hadn't eaten yet. May coffee rin naman daw dito, sabi ni Kayla. It was not my first time here, but I hadn't tried their coffee.

The two conyos were sitting beside each other. Parang may sariling mundo.

"Anyare sa'yo?" Maya asked. Kayla didn't even look at me.

"Wala. Malamig lang," I told them, even though I was wearing 3/4 sleeves. Joey removed her jacket and let me borrow it.

"Thanks," I said, smiling. I saw Kayla glance at me. She was still talking to Cara but not that giddy anymore.

Finally, they were done talking. The redhead was just staring at me and said, "May kunin lang ako sa car."

When she came back, she was holding another hoodie. "Here. Mas makapal 'to," she offered me.

"This is fine, baka sobra naman akong mainitan."

"Fine," she said. Her voice was cold, like the weather.

"Akin nalang, Kayla," Maya said, then grabbed the piece of clothing.

We were all getting to know each other while having our coffee. Well, more like they were getting to know me. All the questions were about my background, what I do in life, and my plans when I become an idol.

But then Cara asked me a question, "Are you dating anyone right now?" All their eyes were on me.

"I-I'm not sure," I answered. I was studying Kayla's face and hoped she wouldn't notice.

"Well, there's this girl... Hmm, wala. Never mind," I said.

"Huy! Sino yan? Bakit di ko alam?" Clay exclaimed. She understood when I lifted my brows. Or did she really?

"This girl..." Kayla started talking. "Is she new to your life?" she asked me.

I looked at Clay then Maya with a pleading look. I hoped they would save me.

"De ano. Ex niya. Gustong magcomeback," Maya told the group. I mentally facepalmed, unsure if what she said was worse, but it definitely saved me from revealing about a certain girl.
