Kayla's POV
Adie and Michelle just arrived at the house. Sobrang sweet nila, sakit sa mata. They even bought a lot of pasalubong for us.
I was staring at Adie. She was finally happy. She looked refreshed, and her eye bags, because of staying up late watching over me at the hospital, were gone.
"Baka matunaw 'yan," Joey said, almost whispering so that only I could hear her.
"Huh?"
"Bat mo kasi pinakawalan?" she asked. "Tignan mo ngayon, nasasaktan ka," she added.
"I am not," I kept denying, pero nasasaktan naman talaga ako.
"Kayla," Clay called me.
"Chinese ka ba?"
"Bakit? Kasi Liu?" I asked.
"Hindi. Kasi hopia ka nanaman," Clay teased. Everyone was laughing except for me and the couple, who were just smiling. Parang careful din sila because of my past with Adie.
"Kayo talaga. Andito ung girlfriend oh," I said, smiling. I tried my best not to show my true feelings.
Michelle and Adie were still smiling.
"Tsaka... I have a date din later. Be nice ah! Papunta na siya dito," I added.
"Yieee! Muling ibalik?" Stella teased. I couldn't help but look at Adie. She was still smiling. Good thing siguro na masaya na talaga siya.
"Let's see," I answered.
We were still gathered in the living room when Jess arrived.
"Hmm, si Michelle pala, girlfriend ni Adie. Michelle si Jess... uhh..." I introduced the two but I didn't know what to say about Jess right now.
"Manliligaw ni Kayla," Jess said, shaking Michelle's hand.
"Hi! Bagay kayo ah," Michelle said. Umirap ba si Adie or guni-guni ko lang?
"Thanks," Jess mumbled.
"Ahh, sa room lang kami ni Jess," I said as I excused us from the group.
"Ay wow, kwarto agad?" Clay said. Halatang inis pa rin siya dito.
"Bebe time muna kami. Alangang kayo lang nila Maya at Adie pwede," I told her while holding Jess's hand.
"Adie, hiramin ko muna ung room ah," I said, looking at our 8th member. She just nodded with a faint smile.
Adie's POV
I knocked on the door of our room and heard Kayla say, "Come in!"
Ang sweet nila. Parang gusto kong magdabog. Kaya naman pala gusto niyang magmove on ako kasi si Jess ang gusto niya. Si Jess din naman kasi ang last niyang naaalalang minahal niya.
Jess's head was on Kayla's chest. They were watching on the latter's phone. Kayla was even playing with Jess's hair.
"Sorry, gusto mo bang magpahinga? Alis na rin kami in a while," Kayla said as she and Jess sat up.
"Ah hindi. Kunin ko lang 'tong charger ko," I told them.
I saw Jess hold Kayla's cheek and kiss her on the lips.
Pota?!
Smack lang yun pero parang pinunit ung puso ko.
Kayla smiled because of Jess's action and then caressed Jess's face too. Ginantihan niya naman ng halik to.
