It's so sad what Adrik had to go through as a child and in all honesty Etoria might have been a bit unfeeling by trying to point out the differences between both their miserable states in the past as though one was worse than the other butttttt let's all understand one thing , in life there are only POVs (point of views) and in every situation the first thing that happens is that you speak as you feel meaning people speak and behave in their own point of view but when you try to see from another person's point of view , then the diversity if life is revealed. Etoria may have just been too caught up in her point if view that she didn't see Adrik's.
