I just let her drag me all the way from the Harlem mansion to our home and when we finally got to our bedroom both our facades broke into pieces

"I'm sorry....I'm sorry I know you hate me now , you feel disgusted by me , you now see how unlovable I am I jus....." She broke out in tears , ranting on about things I know weren't true so I cut her off

"Hey , hey that's not true , I only see you as Selena , I just feel so useless as I couldn't help you through your testing times . I just wanted to know it all , between us two alone , I want to hear you Selena " I told her sincerely

She broke down in tears , pulling me close to her as she hugged me on our bed

" I did nothing wrong V , I only came into this world , I didn't ask for it , I didn't ask to be named neither did I ask to be unwanted".

"My mother gave birth to me but because I was a child born as a result of rape, she despised my presence as it reminded her of her weakness" .

" Soon I grew older and my father's disgust towards my mother grew and he openly showed it before me too ".

She said and paused so I gave her an encouragement by rubbing on her hair as I moved us further into the bed , with her head on my chest , hand over my torso

She said and I could see she could go on and on but I couldn't bear it

" Stop it , it's not true " I muttered weakly hugging her tighter and stroking her hair until she fell asleep

"Am sorry if I may have disturbed you "

"It's alright Etoria , it must have been important" I said not wanting her to feel any worse

" Yes , I need your help , you know all thats going on and...and Adrik needs your help now " She said exactly what I guessed the call was all about in the first place

" No , listen for a short time you both had some sort of friendship, he never went through with his plan to kill Selena , you know he never even attempted and never looked at her in the wrong way " She said exasperating already plus with her pleading voice and points , I couldn't help but give in

" Just some problems in the office babe , go back to sleep , I'll be in the study "
