It's been 3years since my trial and conviction. I don't know how they managed to do it but I had an idea that it had to be Etoria's doing .

She must have done something to lessen my stay in prison and that too most likely with Vallentino's help but that fucker wouldn't have wanted to save the one hired to assassinate his love.

Definitely why he simply reduced the jail term, oh well am glad I would be getting out in a week though. I'd get to see her again

I can't understand why? , wats going on ?, since I got out of prison I haven't laid my eyes on her , no one is telling me anything though I haven't reached out . I won't take this anymore

" Hello Sean" I said hoping he'd at least respond well to me

" Hello, my free friend who seems to have forgotten all about me along with the underground world" He said tauntingly, I know he's not happy with the fact that I quit the underworld

" I know , I should have called earlier but that's not the point , could you please find out where Etoria is , I can't seem to find her"

"Sure , give me a few minutes " He said bringing an end to the call

I just hope since my leaving , everything hasn't changed too much

"Adrik" I heard Sean say on the other line as soon as I picked the call , making my breathing spike up for some reason

"Yes , what is it ?, where is she?" I asked frantically

"Are you dressed?" He asked making me shocked at his dumb question

" What kind of question is that Sean , I don't have time for jokes" I said almost yelling

" Adrik answer me goddammit , are you dressed ?" He asked and I could sense the urgency as my tension grew higher

" Yes " I responded breathing heavily

" Get your keys if you have a damn car " He said getting irritated so I decided to be the calm one to get the answers I need

" I got my bike keys , where is she Sean?" I asked for the last time , getting out my condo and racing to the elevator so I could get to my bike but I was sent In shock with his next words

" Etoria is in the City's Hospital, she is fighting for her life " He said cutting off the call immediately

"Shit, shit , shit , hang on Agapi am coming " I said to myself racing to my bike as I zoomed off to the City's Hospital

"Etoria you need to stop crying " Grandma half yelled at me

"H...how...how can I grandma , Adrik has been released from prison since last week , I promised to wait for him but am going to die and there is nothing I can do about it" I said dreading his reaction when he would find out about me being deceased

" Now stay right here , I'll go get you some fruits to eat okay

" Okay " I said but the moment she walked out , I willed myself up removing the IV drip from my wrist as I walked in to the bathroom and stood before the mirror

Need less to say I looked horrible , I had my hair in a wrap in an attempt to preserve what's left of it , my skin looked pale and dry I felt breakable , my lips chapped I felt stings when I licked them , my figure zoned down to a zero as I looked like a toothpick stuck in a rice bag , my eyes dead and plain white like a ghost
