Luffy Love (Luffy x Reader)

Chapter 18

You went with Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, and Brook as you explored the west side of the island. Sanji, Nami, Robin, and Zoro explored the eats side, while Franky stayed at the shore to keep an eye on the Sunny and started setting up a little camp by the shore. The island was very tropical with lots of foliage and wild animals. Usopp and Chopper were scared every time a giant animal came for us but Luffy and Brook handled it every time.

Luffy carried a huge net that dragged behind him that was filled with multiple animals he fought. The island was beautiful it had wonderful flowers all over the place and giant trees that created lush canopies. You were stopping so much to look at everything but the others stayed patient they liked seeing you so happy and mesmerized by everything. You stopped to look at a beetle and Chopper joined you.

Chopper: "Are you having fun (Y/n)?"

(Y/n): "Yes! I never knew places like this existed! They're beautiful and fun!"

Usopp: "I wish you could have seen Little Garden, it was a prehistoric wonderland!"

Chopper: "I really liked the sky islands, it was fun being up in the clouds."

(Y/n): *giggles  "That sounds amazing, I wish I could've seen it."

Usopp: "Well we're just glad you're here now."

Brook: "Why yes, to have another beautiful woman on the ship is wonderful. Yohoho!~"

Usopp and Brook nod in agreeance while Chopper gave them a confused look. You weren't really paying attention to their conversation, you were wrapped up in watching Luffy. He too had no interest in their conversation, he stood near a tree as a butterfly sat on the brim of his hat. He looked up at it and watched it with joy. You felt your lips turn into a smile, he was absolutely adorable and so sweet. 

His hair glistened in the rays of sunshine that passed through the canopy, his eyes glowed with joy, his smile reached from ear to ear providing all the warmth anyone could ever need, and his body was perfectly chiseled with muscle.

~Luffy: "(Y/n) are you okay?"

Luffy was right in your face, inches away. Your cheeks heated up and your heart started racing. 

(Y/n): "Y-yes I-I'm fine."

Luffy: "Are you sure your cheeks are really red and you were staring at me?"

He gets closer to you with that question. You take a deep swallow and nod again, unable to take your eyes off his lips.

Luffy: *softly "I can close the gap if you want? Do you want a taste?"

Your heartbeat quickened and your face became hotter but you nodded desperately wanting his lips to meet yours. He leaned in closer and you leaned toward him. Then-- ~

Chopper: " (Y/n) are you okay? Hurry up, you don't want to be left behind."

Your mind refocused and you were standing by a large fern straggling behind the others. Luffy and Usopp were messing around while Chopper and Brook walked behind them.

IDIOT! Was I really just fantasizing about Luffy?! Why do I wish it was real so bad?! Pull it together (Y/n), you can't be having these fantasies right now!

You slapped your cheeks and caught up with the others. You were still recovering from your fantasy so your cheeks were still a little red and your heart beat was still trying to calm itself. You were zoned out thinking about everything, that you didn't notice someone walking next to you. Then Luffy appeared in front of you making you jump, you raised your hand but before turning you caught yourself.
