Luffy Love (Luffy x Reader)

Chapter 12

The straw hats fought the imaginary army around you and all you could do was sit there and watch in pain, fear, and guilt. Luffy's fight above was getting more intense as (EP/n) imagined some sort of mech suit to go against Luffy. After some time, there were no imaginary friends left, (EP/n) was too focused on fighting Luffy to make more. 

Exhausted, Zoro laid on the ground and slept, Usopp sat near you, Chopper sat in front of you and started pulling out med supplies from his backpack, Brook sat near you opposite of Usopp, and Nami sat next to you and brought you in close to her. Tears once again formed and lightly fell down your cheeks. You were too exhausted to sob, you simply sat there as Nami rocked you and Chopper wrapped up the damage done to your arms by your devil fruit.

As Chopper was finishing, you heard Luffy give a loud boisterous scream. You quickly looked up to see him landing a powerful punch to (EP/n)'s face. Your eyes grew wide and sparkled with joy, Nami smiled lovingly at Luffy, Zoro smirked, Usopp gave a big grin, Brook another small "yohoho," and Chopper an opened mouth smile. Luffy came falling down from the sky and landed in the middle of all of you. When the dust settled, he laid there fast asleep and just a few seconds after(EP/n) fell hard into the deck of his ship as well unconscious.  

You cried as you leaned into Nami more. People apparently gathered as you could hear cheers from the shore where the town stood happy, their dictator was gone. Nami hugged you tight and you too found yourself drifting to sleep.

2 days later...

Straw hat POV:

Luffy laid in a bed provided by the hotel in town. All of the citizens and women forced to work in the club were thankful to the straw hats that they had partied for two days after the fight. And in those two days, (Y/n) was no where to be seen. 

Zoro sat on the floor with his arms over his head fast asleep. Chopper was redoing the bandages on Luffy's shoulder. Usopp was tinkering away on his bow. Robin sat in a chair reading a book. Finally, Nami, she stood tapping her foot impatiently with her arms crossed.

She lets out a sigh and spins around to face the other straw hats.

Nami: "Where is she?!"

Usopp: "Who knows? She probably just needed some time."

Luffy: "Yeah Nami, just give her some time."

Nami: "We can't! The log pose is ready to go, we can only stay one more hour and then we have to leave."

Luffy: "Okay so then we leave."

Nami: "NO! You idiot! We need to talk to her, I need to talk to her."

She looked away from Luffy, sad. Luffy gives her a confusing look.

Luffy: "Why? What is it you want to ask her?"

With his questions, Nami becomes flustered and turns away from Luffy completely.

Nami: *flustered "Oh nothing, it's uh... a secret!"

Luffy: "A secret?"

Chopper: "Didn't you want to ask Luffy is she could- Arg!"

Nami rushes Chopper and quickly covers his mouth. Luffy becomes even more confused.

Usopp: "Why not just ask him now? The worse he'll say is no."

Nami: "Exactly! If he says no, it'll break my heart!"

Luffy: "I'm so confused right now! Someone tell me what's going on!"

Zoro: "Nami wants (Y/n) to join our crew."
