Luffy Love (Luffy x Reader)

Chapter 29

The three were met with a room filled with science equipment, a wall filled with needles, and someone hunched over in a lab coat watching something drip in a beaker. The three stared quizzically at the weird person.

??: *monotone  "This is a restricted area only those with higher clearance may enter. Please turn around and leave, have a nice day."

Sanji: "Um yah I get that, but uh we were uh sent to get that vial taken from the straw hat earlier."

??: *monotone  "Oh I see, here."

The man in the coat held up a vial of green liquid.

Sanji: "Uh thanks, we'll uh get this to the boss as requested."

I can't believe that worked!

The three slowly exited the room and closed the door behind them. They started to creep away silently.

??: *muffled  "WAIT A MINUTE!"

The door busted open and a short man with brown shaggy hair, dark circles under his eyes, stubble, a messy blue shirt with a lab coat, and messy blue jeans stood before them.

Sanji: "I knew it couldn't be that easy."

??: "I don't know who you are but you better give that back or else!"

Nami: "Yeah or else what?"

The man gave a crooked smile before Sanji suddenly fell over and a plume of smoke exited the lab coat.

Nami: "SANJI!"

Brook: "What happened?!"

??: "Now give it back or else."

Nami: "NO! That is our friends life, I won't give it back."

??: "Then I have no choice."

Before Nami could move, Sanji was standing in front of her kicking  balls of purple light away and into the wall causing an explosion and some of the wall to be destroyed. 

Nami: "S-Sanji?"

Sanji: *pained  "Well that hurt, what kind of weapons are you hiding in that coat?"

??: "Quite the observation haki, not many people can deter my attacks."

His coat began to transform, giant guns and cannons took place all over his back and sides.

Brook: "Ice Wall! Quickly we need to run!"

As his ice wall forms, the three start to run as a barrage of bullets, lasers, and cannons fight there way through it. They get a distance away before having to take cover.

Sanji: "DAMN! With all these bullets we can't even move!"

Nami: "And sooner or later there won't even be a wall to hide behind."

??: "You can't escape my barrage! Give it back or else."

Brook: "Sanji, I have an idea!"

Sanji looked to him and nodded. Brook takes his guitar out and starts playing a tune that summons the soul skeleton. The bullets go right through it.

??: "WHAT?!"

It makes it's way toward the man as he releases more bullets into it, as it reaches the man he stops firing and cowers to feel nothing, When he opens his eyes a swift kick from Sanji breaks the weapons and sends him flying.

Nami: "Nice moves you too!"

Brook falls to the ground and his soul skeleton disappears. 

Nami: "Brook!"
