Chapter 9

(N/n): navigator for (EP/n)

(IM/n): imaginary friend name

(EP/n)'s crew started charging the straw hats causing them to go into action. Robin, Usopp, Franky, Chopper, and Brook started fending them off while protecting Luffy, Nami, Sanji, and Zoro.

Robin: "Go on ahead you four, we'll handle them!"

Luffy: "Alright, be careful!"

The four started running toward (EP/n) who was carrying you, your sister, (VC/n), and who you know as the crew's navigator, (N/n). They were exiting through a secret door in the office. The four started running after you while (EP/n) took you away. They got to a sub room with a huge bed in the center. When the four straw-hats caught up, (N/n) stood in the center as you and (EP/n) left through another door.

Straw-hats POV:

Luffy: "NO (Y/n)! GET OUT OF OUR WAY!"

(N/n): "You'll have to go through me if you wan to get by."

His arms open up and huge guns pop out. They start firing amongst the straw-hats. Luffy grabs Nami and nearly dodges them. The three run as the trail of bullets follow them.

Sanji: "HEAD TO THE DOOR! I'LL HANDLE THIS GUY!"

Luffy: "OKAY!"

Sanji air walks over the bullet trail and comes crashing down on (N/n) with his leg. (N/n) was barely able to dodge but it did cause him to stop firing and gave Luffy and Zoro enough time to run out of the room.

Sanji: "Looks like you'll have to get through me if you want to get to my crew."

(N/n): "Damn you."

Zoro and Luffy with Nami in is hands follow the only path in the club that eventually led to a back alley way. A huge-cleaver-esk sword came swinging at the straw-hats the moment they popped out. 

Nami: "AHHHH!"

Zoro pulled two of his blades out stopping the sword. On the other end was (VC/n).

(VC/n): "Your crew is dropping like flies straw-hat! Who will stay behind to deal with me now?!"

Zoro: "I got this Luffy, keep going!"

Luffy: "Okay, take him down Zoro!"

(VC/n): "And another one bites the dust."

Zoro's eyebrow lifted in confusion as Luffy kept running with Nami in his arms.

Luffy kept running until all of a sudden, he came to a dead stop causing Nami to go flying out of his hands.

Nami: "AHHHH! OOF! WHAT THE HELL LUFFY?!"

She looked over to see Luffy struggling to get his feet to move.

Nami: "What's going on Luffy?"

Luffy: "I don't know! My feet are stuck!"

(S/n): "You should have read the sign, the road is being redone. Glue has been laid down to hold it together. *laughs"

Nami looks around to see wet areas with the glue substance all over the road and building. Nami stands and extends her hand out toward Luffy.

Nami: "Luffy lose the sandals and take my hand."

Luffy: "But I like my sandals."

Luffy pouts and does as Nami says. He stretches his arm to her and pulls himself over to her. He goes to turn toward (S/n) but Nami steps in front of him.

Nami: "Leave her to me Luffy... I'm gonna make her pay for lying to (Y/n)."

Luffy: "Are you sure?"

(S/n): "OOOO, look who's feeling braaaave. You think you can take me you orange bimbo?!"

Nami: "I won't lose no matter what, I couldn't imagine the pain (Y/n) must be in to find out all her suffering was and is caused by you. Unforgivable. Weather egg!"

An egg pops out of her staff into the sky, cracking open, and releasing black clouds.

Luffy: "Okay, just be careful. I'll stop that booger guy and make him pay!"

Luffy runs off making sure to watch out for any glue spots.

(S/n): "Give me everything you've got!"

(Y/n) POV:

Your body hurt as (EP/n) made it to his pirate ship. As soon as he gets aboard, he throws you to the ground and you cry out in pain. Your body won't move and you start to feel dizzy from the blood loss in your shoulder. Move dammit! Stop him before Luffy comes! I can't let them get hurt for me!

Luffy: *distant "(Y/n)!"

Your eyes snap over in terror.

(EP/n): "Well looks like your savior has arrived. Hahaha, I'll keep you alive so you can watch your so-called hero die a painful death."

Luffy jumped aboard and stared daggers into (EP/n).

(EP/n): "Tell me straw-hat, why are going to so much effort for this train wreck? She's used up and damaged... Oh I know, you want your own personal slave huh? *laughs  I should have known thin and defilled women were your type, just look at those other two fine women. They get you off don't they?"

Luffy: "SHUT UP! (Y/n) IS MY FRIEND NOW SO I'M NOT GONNA LET YOU HURT HER ANYMORE!"

(EP/n): "NAIVE CHILD! (Y/n) SHE IS NOTHING, SHE CAN'T DO YOU OR ANYONE ANY GOOD!"

Luffy: "SHHHUUTTT UUUUPPP!"

Luffy was steaming as he just appeared in front of (EP/n), he had seemed to get there in a blink of an eye. Luffy gives him a huge punch that causes (EP/n) to go flying across the deck of his massive ship. Your eyes grew in shock, you couldn't believe that Luffy was actually capable of hurting (EP/n) or that he was capable of even being hurt.

Luffy: "(Y/N) IS NOT WORTHLESS, SHE'S STRONG! SHE HAS TAKEN SO MUCH AND NEVER STOPPED MOVING FORWARD! YOU DON'T DESERVE HER IF YOU CAN'T SEE HOW AMAZING SHE IS! I'M KICKING YOUR BUTT AND GETTING HER OUT OF HERE!"

Tears poured from your face as Luffy's words, even though he knew nothing about you he thought so highly of you. Luffy...

(EP/n) stood from the dust and glared at Luffy.

(EP/n): "You damn brat, you defeat me? NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! GET HIM (IM/n)!"

(Y/n): "LUFFY WATCH OUT!"

Luffy barley dodged slices that came at him from behind, his back became covered in scratches and blood dripped down him.

Luffy: *pained "Ack, what the heck?!"

(Y/n): "Luffy has haki?"

(EP/n): "AGAIN (IM/n)!"

More slashes came at Luffy, some he was able to dodge and others were able to cut him.

Luffy: "DAMMIT! GUM-GUM: GATLING!"

A barrage of fists came down on the empty deck behind him. When his attack stopped and the dust settled, a weird creature with long sword-like fingers laid unconscious. Then the thing disappeared. Before Luffy could even react, a huge explosion went off behind him sending him toward his own carnage. 

Luffy: *pained "UURRRR, what the hell?!"

Luffy focused on the spot of the explosion as a mirage type of field faded away revealing a large blob creature with bomb hands.

Luffy: "What the heck is going on?!"
