Luffy Love (Luffy x Reader)

Chapter 11

Straw hat POV:

Nami stood surrounded by puddles of glue. Your sister stood across from her with a wicked smirk spread across her face. Nami's face was filled with anger and seriousness. 

(S/n): "Aw what's wrong orangey, why so mad? Oh, do you actually give a shit about my sister? How sad!"

Nami: "SHUT UP! She thought you were dead, I could see the joy, fear, and relief fill her face and you... YOU BETRAYED HER! WHAT KIND OF SISTER ARE YOU!"

(S/n): "My mom and sister were so close, they had this stupid fascination with pirates! PIRATES ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH, THEY WERE STUPID FOR LOVING THEM! THE ONLY GOOD PIRATE IS A DEAD ONE!"

Nami: "THEN WHY ARE YOU WORKING WITH ONE?!"

(S/n): "It's only until I can kill you and your captain. I'll rid this world of all pirates including (EP/n)!"

Nami went quiet and just glared before taking a deep breath. 

Nami: "I'll make you pay, (Y/n) thought she was finally out she found us and you almost ruined that. I'll make you pay for hurting (Y/n), your forecast for the day seems to be cloudy with a chance of lighting and some hard winds!"

Your sister looks at Nami confused before lighting bolts start shooting down all around her. She jumps around narrowly avoiding them and the puddles of glue. Her avoiding the attacks, backs her up into a building and as soon as she is there Nami uses her staff and creates a high pressured wind attack that blows your sister through the building. 

You sister pushes herself out of the rubble and in anger charges toward Nami. As she makes contact with her, Nami's body disappears. As your sister looks around she is surrounded by multiple Namis. 

(S/n): "UURRGGG! Where are you coward!?"

She starts shooting glue out of her hands and hitting some of the Namis. After a barrage of shooting, there is only one Nami left and she looks scared.

(S/n): "What you thought you could hide from me?!"

Your sister rushes the final Nami and...

Poof.

The Nami disappears and your sister falls into a puddle of glue. Your sister struggles in her glue and Nami steps out from behind a building and slowly walks up to her. Nami points her staff at her neck and lifts her head so she is staring into Nami's eyes.

Nami: "You see, I have a sister too. A sister who I love and would do anything for. She doesn't care that I'm a pirate, she only cares if I'm happy. You were jealous of the bond your mom and sister had, that is the only reason you hated them. They did nothing to you! I'll be the sister (Y/n) never had! THUNDER TEMPO!"

A huge bolt of lighting comes crashing down on (S/n) and she screams in pain. When the lighting ends, Nami stands angry over your sister's unconscious body. 

Zoro: "Nami!"

Nami looks over and sees Zoro, Brook, Usopp, and Chopper carefully making their way toward her. 

Usopp: "Nice work."

Chopper: "Are you okay Nami?"

Nami turns her back to them and toward the direction Luffy ran off.

Nami: "I want (Y/n) to join our crew. No matter what."

Chopper and Usopp smile in agreeance, Brook gives out a small "yohoho," and Zoro narrows his eyes at her.

Zoro: "That's not up to you."

Nami: "I know, and I'll do anything for Luffy to have her."

She turns back and stares at Zoro with determined eyes. He examines her face for a just a second before smiling and nods. 

Nami: "Now come on, Luffy is fighting and (Y/n) needs our help."

They all nod and begin running.

(Y/n) POV:

You were in a constant fight with imaginary friends. The amount of them was exhausting your devil fruit and when that happens your fingers start to split open making your hands stiff. Your devil fruit power slows down. You push through and fight. Luffy is counting on me, I can't give in now!

You look up and see Luffy going all out with (EP/n). (EP/n) has imagined special armor to fight against Luffy. They each exchanged blows but the fight doesn't stop, their hakis clash and make it even harder for you to fight.

As you were distracted by their fight, an imaginary friend gets a good hit on you and knocks you down. You scream out in pain. Luffy stops fighting and looks toward you.

Luffy: "(Y/n)!"

He rushes toward you but is grappled by (EP/n). Luffy struggles but goes no where, he blows up like a balloon causing (EP/n) to let go and Luffy kicks him away. He turns back toward you but wouldn't make it as a teddy bear looking one with a huge gold hook goes to slice at you. You close your eyes in hopes to shield yourself from whatever attack was coming.

You waited but the attack never came. You slowly opened your eyes and see Zoro standing in front of you using one of his swords to hold back the hook.

Chopper: "(Y/n) are you okay?"

You look around to see yourself surround by Nami and her staff, Usopp has his bow drawn, Brook with his sword cane out, and Chopper in some sort of oval shaped form in a kung-fu stance. Your eyes fill with tears at the sight of your new found friends come to aid you and Luffy.

(Y/n): *crying "Yes."

Zoro: "Good, now just sit there and rest, we can handle the rest."

Luffy: "Thanks you guys!"

Nami: "Luffy, just beat him already!"

Luffy turns back to (EP/n) before blowing into his arm and turning in a huge man that Luffy had screamed out was something called balloon man. You wiped your tears and painfully sat yourself up and held your cut up arms.
