Tsukimisa Sakuhime
Tsukimisa felt like everything that came to today was a complete blur. It all had started with yesterday morning. She was first told that the current leader of the Demon Slayers Corps was standing at the mansion's door. Even she couldn't believe her eyes.
And the next thing she knew, she and the others were asked to head to the headquarters this morning. She knew for a fact that the leader of the Corps was looking for Taeko. She had mixed emotions all at once.
She was shocked, confused, and maybe even frustrated. She knew that Taeko wanted to put everything that happened behind her. Were people trying to put her through the pain and torture of fighting her friends again?
Tsukimisa had a lot of questions. However, she had decided to save them for when she would arrive at headquarters. She had just gotten out of her place this morning, and was on her way to headquarters. Fortunately, her home was a short walk from headquarters. It was also a short walk to Taeko's home as well, so she wasn't too worried.
The girl had walked to where the leader's mansion was, and noticed several of her friends had already arrived. To her surprise, Taeko hadn't arrived yet. Did she not want to come? Or was it still too early in the morning?
"Oh, Tsukimisa! Hey!" She had turned over to see Asahi waving over to her. Tsukimisa had walked over to her, and crossed her arms. "Morning." She had said simply. "Taeko's not here yet? I thought she would be early." She had asked.
"Not yet. We did tell her yesterday, but she seemed hesitant about coming. She did say she was coming though." Asahi replied, frowning. "She wouldn't run away from something like this... right?" Tsukimisa had asked. "Knowing her, she wouldn't. But still, I'm worried for her." The male had pointed out.
Tsukimisa had looked around to see who else had arrived besides herself and Asahi. There were also a few more demon slayers from the group who had arrived. Besides herself and Asahi, there was Shinozuka, Yura, and Yuki.
"Honestly... same here. I think she turned pale the moment we told her about this..." Tsukimisa had pointed out with a sigh. "Well, we can only find out, right?" Asahi had added on as well.
Minutes had passed, and everyone else had started arriving. Several others had a few scratches on them, due to missions that they were finishing up. Now, it was 12 out of the 13 people who had arrived.
"I think that's everyone." Shinozuka then spoke up. "The last one is..." He had trailed off his sentence, thinking for a second. "Taeko. She's not here yet." Ayakashi then soon spoke up. "Wasn't she at the mansion this morning?" Tsukimisa had asked, raising an eyebrow.
"She had a mission to do, and she said she might be gone until this morning." Ryoshi then pointed out. Tsukimisa had sighed in slight annoyance. "Please don't tell me she's going to run away from this..." She had mumbled under her breath.
"I'm the last one, huh?"
Everyone's heads had turned to the entrance of the headquarters, and saw a familiar female with a wisteria haori. Taeko's hair was still tied up neatly in a bun. However, her tone of voice and expression said otherwise. It definitely looked like Taeko wasn't looking forward to this.
"Alright, looks like that's all of us." Yuki had replied, then looked at everyone. Tsukimisa had stared at Taeko for a few moments. She could tell that Taeko looked rather... nervous? Anxious? Before anyone could say anything else, a new voice had spoken up.
