"A day off? That's something I don't get everyday..."

The brunette female had received a message from her crow, telling her that she and her friends had gotten a day off from receiving missions.

"The master has requested it! You all have worked hard! I have told your other friends as well!"

Taeko had sighed quietly. Well, the crow was definitely three steps ahead. If she were being honest, she was glad that her crow was still around after everything that's happened. Her crow frequently bothered her about missions often, sure, but her crow never left.

"Thank you... and thank you, for staying with me all this time..."

A squawk was heard from the crow as he flew off of Taeko's arm, flying off somewhere else. Probably to the mansion. Now that she did have a day off, what could she do right now?

"Hmm... what can I do right now?" The girl had asked out loud, staring up at the sky. However, after a few seconds of thinking, she had a few choices in mind. Maybe she could run some errands?

But she soon realized that her friends had ran a few errands that she was going to do today. So, that was certainly off the list for today. The girl had sighed softly, as she paced back and forth, wondering what to do.

A thought suddenly came to her head. What about the Butterfly Mansion? Normally, she would go there to have her injuries patched up. But she remembered that time where the last time she went there, she remembered the argument she had with Aoi several months ago.

"The others... they're demons, are they...?!"

"How did you think of that conclusion?!"

"You were the only one out of that battle alive! Shinozuka may have been another one who came back too, but it was you that everyone could recognize! Why didn't you ever say anything...?!"

"I couldn't, Aoi! I just couldn't! I failed to protect the ones I cared about! I ran, allowing Tanjiro to turn others into demons! I'm a coward! I don't deserve to be the one to protect and save everyone!"

"So you're just going to lose hope like that and move on? Huh?"

"What's the point of getting my hopes up?! I lost them all, Aoi!"

"You can clearly do better than bring yourself down! You have other friends around you who deserve to know what's going on!"

"They don't deserve to know! They can't! Now leave me alone!"

"Taeko, get back here!"

The girl had sighed softly, staring down at the ground. She had her regrets when it came to that argument. She thought she didn't deserve anyone's kindness or help when it came to that. But her new friends never left. Even after her telling the truth, they never left. Though several people were upset that she didn't tell them, she felt like she didn't deserve them.

But would it hurt to visit the others in the Butterfly Mansion? She hadn't seen them in a while. She also felt like she needed to apologize to them, especially Aoi. So, she had decided to make her way there. It wasn't too far since she was on her way home earlier, so she had to turn around.

A few minutes later, she found herself out front of the mansion. Several butterflies were fluttering around her. At one point, a butterfly landed on her head.
