Camila's POV

It was a peaceful Sunday morning. This week passed quietly. I did not see Ms. J, but she was not out of town since I did not have to come for the evening shift. It was good I did not see her after having the little tension we had last week, but I thought of her. I wondered whether she was upset with me or not. Probably, she was not since she did not fire me for talking to her like that. Probably, she realized she should not have done that, interfering with my choice of transport, which was a personal thing. Today, I still got this job. That's the point, and that's enough. I should not think too much.

I shook my head to stop myself from overthinking. I walked Thunder and Leo to play by the riverside. It was their morning routine. We would walk around this property and play along the way. The house itself was big, but it was not huge. However, it sat on a huge land borderline with the water, surrounded by well-kept nature, a human-made lake, trees, and gardens. It also had a dock for her boat and the helipad where I sometimes saw her helicopter. I wondered how it felt to be a billionaire like her, owning such an amazing place.

After playing with Thunder and Leo by the riverside, we rested under the big tree, enjoying the peaceful Sunday morning. Life was so good this way when I could slow down and enjoy nature accompanied by the animals. I left my book and my headphones in my bag on my motorcycle. I did not take them with me. So, I just sat down under this big tree, enjoying the soft sunlight warming my skin, the morning breeze passing my hair, and listening to the chirping birds while I watched the geese swimming in the pond. It was so peaceful that I loved being here.

I almost fell asleep under this tree. I opened my eyes to check on Thunder and Leo. They were still lying close to me. I was taken aback when I looked to my right side, a person sitting next to me. "Did you dream about something?" She asked, taking off her sunglasses.

I sat straight up. "Sorry, Ms. J! I..." I was panicking. I hope she did not think that I always slept like this when I was supposed to walk and play with her dogs. "I did not sleep... It was just..."

She smiled, "It's good isn't it to enjoy the breeze under this big tree?"

"I am sorry!" I said. "I don't do this every day."

"It's alright, Camila! I don't have anything to complain about since they enjoy it, too. As long as they are good, everything is good." She looked away to Thunder and Leo.

"I never sleep during working hours, well, once in a while but only for a few minutes...It's not every time..." I still wanted this job.

She laughed instead of warning me, "It's fine, Camila! As long as they are safe and happy... " She said, referring to Thunder and Leo.

"Okay..." I said with a small voice. I did not know how to respond, or what the right word to say. I added. "Thanks..."

My mind got busy again. It was not a good idea. I should not have stopped too long under this tree. It was also Sunday when it was quieter here, and when she was mostly at home. It was not that I wanted to sleep. I just fell asleep. It was a microsleep. She showed up unexpectedly, catching me sleeping during the working hours. Why did she come here? I knew it was Sunday, but she never showed up in the morning. Did she want to check whether I did my job properly?

"Are you bored, Camila?" She asked, looking at me.

"No! I enjoy this job." I answered immediately. "I was just a bit tired and lost in this peaceful nature." Why did she ask that? Did she mean I was so bored with this job that I fell asleep? If I said yes, would she consider to terminate my job since it would be a month I worked for her by next week?
