Worse Than Giving Up

Chapter 7

Nath's POV

When we walk out of the hospital room, I quickly notice that two guys are sitting in the corridor, and my eyes widen when I realise that I know them.

"What are you doing here?" I ask them, and Logan smiles at me.

To be honest, we never really talked with each other, even through we were in the same room a lot of times.

"Henry and I came here with Sven, to make sure that he won't get lost on his way here, and that the both of you will eventually come back to the pack." Logan tells me.

My eyes widen a bit, and I look at Sven, who smile at me apologetically.

"I kind of promised my father that I will take you back with me.

I didn't have any other option, because he wouldn't have agreed for me to come here, so I didn't promise him to do that." He tells me.

I nod in acknowledgement, before he leads everyone out of the pack hospital.

"Is your father still going to punish me?" I ask him.

I'm pretty sure that if his father changed his mind while I was here, then I would have already known about this, so I'm pretty sure that he's still planning to punish me.

"I think so, but we have a few weeks to figure it out how to deal with that." He tells me.

I frown a bit, before I look at Logan and Henry.

"Are you planning to stay here until we will leave?" I ask them, and Henry nods.

"That's the plan." He tells me, and he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

"Shouldn't you be in your pack lands, taking care of your kids?" I ask, even though I'm pretty sure that I shouldn't asks them about this.

"We don't want to leave them for that long, but they're already used to not seeing us for weeks, so I guess that they will be fine." Henry says.

He doesn't look happy with that, but I guess that he already accepted that he will have to leave them for a long time sometimes, because I can we that he's not angry at that.

"Anyway." Logan says, which makes me look at him, because I can we that he's talking to me.

"I will become an Alpha a few days after we will come back to the pack, so even if my father will put you in the cellars as he wants to do, then I will let you out." He assures me.

My eyes widen a lot, same as Sven's, but my mate quickly gets out of his shock, and he runs to his brother to hug him.

"You will be an Alpha soon?" Sven asks him, and Logan nods happily.

"I hope that this will allow me to have a bit more time to spend with my kids." Logan tells him.

"Doesn't it meant that you will have more responsibilities?" I ask him, and he shrugs slightly.
