Sven's POV

But thankfully his expression quickly changes to a happy one, which most likely means that he managed to remember that I was here yesterday.

"Can you tell me what we were doing yesterday?" I ask him, because I want to know how much he can remember.

He thinks about it for a while, before he decides to answer.

"We were walking around the pack lands with my friends and someone else." He tells me.

"Who?" I ask him.

"I'm not sure." He says after a few seconds.

"Do you remember anything that we were talking about?" I ask him, and he rolls his eyes.

"I can remember everything, I'm sure that I already told you that I'm not stupid." He tells me, with a glare on his face.

"You don't remember." I say, which makes him glare at me even more, but he doesn't try to convince me that I'm wrong, which means that I'm right.

"Don't worry, Jackson said that you're getting better at remembering things, so I'm sure that you will be back to normal soon." I say.

"I don't have any problems with remembering things ." He tells me.

"Alright." I say, because I really don't want to argue with him about that, even though we will most likely forget that we were arguing right after we will finish to do that.

"I have to tell you something." I say after a while of silence, which makes him looks to me again.

I gesture for him to follow me to the table, so he quickly finishes making the sandwiches, before he gives me half of them, and he sits in front of me.

"I think that we're not really mates." I tell him, which makes his eyes widen.

"We're mates. I'm sure of that." He tells me, and I nod slightly.

"We kind of are, but not entirely." I tell him.

"What do you mean?" He asks me, so I decide to explain everything to him, even though I'm not even sure if my assumptions are correct.

"When you were sleeping, I went outside to get my things, and I found someone who smells really nice.

It turned out that he's my mate. I think that he's your mate too, and that it's why we can feel the mate bond." I explain.

"So, were not mates?" He and me, and he sounds disappointed now.

"Well, if my assumptions at true, then we're not real mates. But you would be my mate, even if there want any mating bond between us." I tell him.

"Who is that? And why didn't I find him before?" He asks me

"He moved here in the morning." I say, before I start eat the sandwich that I'm holding.

"I want to meet him." He tells me.

"We will find him later, but I want you to eat now." I say, and I gesture to the food that's laying in front of him.

He looks at it for a while, before he decides that he will eat it, even though I can see that he's not hungry anymore.
