"So... The way the language thing works is that the forest kind of leaves a trace of itself once you get deeper into it. Each animal has its own species specific language here, and has different dialects in different parts of the world. But that's something that doesn't matter here," Henry explained. "Since humans have multiple languages that they can speak, when they spend a long time here they can understand all the forest animal languages."

Liam nodded slowly. "That makes sense."

Henry continued, "Since you've been staying here longer, you can understand small parts of what animals are "saying." Though i think what i speak is kind of a mix of multiple, mainly rabbit and deer i think."

Liam looked Henry up and down. "Ya think?"

Henry shoved Liam to the ground in response.

Last second in mild desperation, Liam grasped Henry's sleeve, dragging him down with him.

They crashed down onto the floor with a thud, and they burst into laughter.

Once the laughter died down, Henry tried to sit up. He ended up tipping to one side from how quickly he did so. He hissed in pain before he could think to not

Henry panicked.

He couldn't have Liam worried.

Not now.
