Drew barely considered his house a home.
His parents were rarely around, and he only talked to them to ask for new things. And maybe to try and build a genuine relationship with them, although those moments grew more and more far apart as he grew older.
He almost always has the entire house to himself, but it was far too empty to keep him entertained. Even with everything he owned. His friends were the whole reason he stayed tethered, so when Jake left him, he felt utterly betrayed. He'd known him for much longer than the music club, yet Jake had chosen them over him.
And then he left Henry behind.
It was something he regretted now, but he knew he couldn't take it back. He knew Henry looked up to him. The extent to which Henry did wasn't something he knew. But if he did he would've reconsidered. If he knew what would happen he would've reconsidered.
If he knew what was happening, he would've reconsidered.
