Liam hadn't yet noticed anything was wrong with Henry. Which was a major surprise to Henry as he knew Liam as being very observant.
Liam could almost instantly tell if something was wrong with Henry, no matter how hard he tried to hide it. He swore Liam could have noticed if he had murdered someone the night before even if he behaved the exact same. It was essentially a super power.
The only time Liam couldn't tell that something was wrong was when it had to do with his family. If Liam asked Henry about any bruises he just explained it away with falling and accidentally hurting himself, especially since he was somewhat known to be clumsy. And if Henry was limping, he would just say he fell at a weird angle.
It really sucked, he was a really good liar at times
