When Liam walked into the shed, he found Henry holding the green book from before. Along with a green hare that sat him his lap.
"Henry!"
He looks up and closes the book. "Hey!"
Liam sat down in front of Henry, trying to take a look at the book he was holding.
But he immediately held it out of sight.
"Awh man! I keep on forgetting that you're taller than me now..."
Henry laughed, and threw the book as far away as possible. It landing on a shelf haphazardly.
The hare shifted in Henry's lap, prompting his attention. Liam watched him scratch the hare's head and murmur softly to it.
Liam reached out to let the hare sniff it before petting. The hare allowed itself to be pet, settling down.
"She likes you!" Henry said, excitedly but still in a soft tone.
"She?"
Henry picked up the hare, much to its annoyance. "Yeah! I haven't named her yet though, it's not like I can just search something up. I threw it away as soon as possible when I noticed the changes."
Liam thought for a moment.
"What about Letti...?"
"..."
"Like lettuce...?"
"No."
