Liam's phone began ringing suddenly.
"Crap! I have to go now, it's getting late," Liam said, essentially jumping off the bed.
Henry made a soft chirping sound that sounded incredibly sad and frowned, giving Liam the most sad-looking puppy eyes ever. It legitimately made him feel bad.
"My parents are probably getting worried right now," Liam said, on the verge of giving in to the puppy eyes.
Henry just made a sad sighing sound and got up to lead Liam back to where he could walk back home himself.
At the forest's main entrance, Henry made some chittering sounds. For some reason however, Liam could slightly understand it. He could understand bits and pieces of it like it was a language he is beginning to learn.
"Please (chittering) back soon, I (chittering) you."
Liam nodded, "I'll be back soon, don't worry."
He began to walk away, hoping to get back home before his parents reported him as a missing person
