I spent the night at John B's place. Yesterday, he revealed to me that he talked to Sheriff Peterkin. She helped him stay out of trouble. She also told him to give up on finding his dad.
He also said that he had a "meeting" with Ward Cameron. It must have been before I went over to Rafe's house.
Apparently, Ward fired John B because he was a Pogue and because Topper told lies about him.
I wanted to check on John B and make sure that he's ok. That was the only Job that payed enough for John B.
"John B?" I asked.
I walked into his house. I walked on clear floors. The trash that would be lying on the floor... was gone.
I checked out back and there he was. He burned almost everything of his dad's.
"John B? What are you doing?" I wondered.
"Burning," he responded. He poked at the fire some more.
"Everything?"
"There's no point in keeping it all. My dad is not coming back."
"John B. He will."
"No! No he won't, Liv."
I stood next to him. Anything I did, wouldn't matter.
I stared at the half burned bulletin board.I pulled it out with a metal stick. I stepped on it until flames didn't show.
"Liv, what are you doing?" He asked me.
I bent down and picked up a photo of John B and his dad. I handed it to him.
"You're going to want this," I said. I would hate not having any photos of my dad. Of both my parents. He will want it, even if he doesn't want it this instant.
I looked down at the bulletin board again. The family photos were destroyed, except for a particular name that caught my eye.
"Olivia R. Routledge," I said.

John B picked up JJ, Pope, and Kie. He was driving us to a cemetery.
"Do you mind if I just relax at this point? It's been a long day, and a lot of weird stuff has gone down. I'm just gonna lay low," JJ expressed. "Oh, Pope, did you want a hit?"
JJ stuck a cigarette in the air.
"I keep the signal clear," Pope said.
"Liv?"
"No, JJ," I laughed.
"Dude. Ok. Do you understand that your problem is that you don't get creative. If you got creat-."
"Ok. I know that I was wrong about the lighthouse...and about everything else going on...but I right about one thing, ok. My dad is trying to tell me something," John B proceeded.
We arrived at the cemetery. It was pitch black so everyone wad holding flashlights.
"Come on. Come on," John B demanded.
"I'm coming," Kie said. "This place is scary. John B, what are we doing?"
"Liv?"
"The shortened version, is that....this whole time... John B and I thought it was a place, but it's not," I said.
"It's not?" JJ asked.
