I had a long talk with my mom last night.
It was understandable why she's so worried about me. She started talking about marrying Rafe.
"I wouldn't go that far with it," I told her.
I got dressed and walked out my door. I opened it to see JJ and Pope walking right into my house.
I backed away from the door and let them enter. "Hello, to you too," I said. I closed the door.
"They know. JJ, they know!" Pope yelled.
I raised my hands and shook them. "Woah. Calm down. What is going on?" I asked. "JJ?"
JJ paced back and forth. "He sank Toppers boat," JJ replied.
JJ didn't seem upset or concerned about the situation. He was kind of smiling at it all.
"JJ, what did you talk him into?" I asked him. I stared at him, annoyed.
JJ took his hat off and put it in his hands. "We got even. Okay, Liv."
I shook my head. "By sinking Toppers boat? That was your great idea?"
I watched Pope as he paced back and forth. I held onto him and called him down.
"I wanted to do it," Pope said. He stared at me with big brown eyes.
I shook my head and placed my hands on his shoulders. "No, you didn't. Crazy people do crazy stuff all the time," I looked over at JJ. "That's what happens when you let this one come up with ideas."
I smacked JJ across the top of his head.
"He's not going to do anything. You know why? If he comes up to you, you're going to.." JJ began.
"Do nothing," I finished. "There's no weaseling your way out of this one. Just deal with it, like men."
"Pope, hey, listen to me. If they confront you just..." JJ yapped.
"Deny," Pope concluded.
"That's right. Deny, deny, deny."
"I have an idea," I chinned in. "Why don't we see a movie later? Be civilized human beings and act completely normal," I convinced.
JJ looked at Pope. "I'm in," Pope said.

I walked out front of Sarah's house. John B asked me to return the pass he borrowed for the archives.
I waited a while but Sarah didn't show. I thought I could just drop it off and leave.
I opened the door and tip-toed into the house. I walked up the stairs and entered her room. I slipped it on her dresser and shut the door.
I began walking down the stairs, but Rafe caught me.
I stopped tip toeing. I turned around towards him. "Hey, Rafe."
He looked over at Sarah's room. "What were you doing in there?" He asked me.
I placed my hand on the back of my neck. I looked over at the room and back at him. "I was dropping off her shorts," I answered. "What were you doing in there?"
The corner of his mouth turned up. I returned the gesture.
"Nothing much. I was just heading to the movies," he responded.
