"SEATTLE IS IN A STATE OF TERROR. POLICE ARE BAFFLED BY THE ESCALATING MURDERS AND DISAPPEARANCES." The news-reporter spoke on the TV whilst Carlisle & Jasper sat on the couch side-by-side and Emmett & Arlina sat on the back of the couch, looking at each other with worried faces, "Theories range from a vicious new gang to a wildly active serial killer. Reporting live, Dawn Chubai. CNN."

Bella and Edward walked in, hand-in-hand, and Carlisle shut off the TV, looking over at the couple with a tired sigh, "It's getting worse. We're going to have to do something."

"It takes more than one of our kind to cause the damage they're reporting." Jasper spoke, eyes on the television with a serious look before he turned his attention to Edward, "Quite a few more. And they're undisciplined, conspicuous."

"It's newborns." Edward stated the obvious.

"No shit." Arlina mumbled and Bella looked at her with a curious look.

"What, like new vampires?" Bella asked, and Arlina nodded to her, Arlina had come across a few newborns in her past 20 or so years and none have ever been friendly.

"In the first few months after the change." Edward explained, his sight focused onto the wooden flooring near Bella's feet.

"That's when we're at our most uncontrollable. Vicious." Jasper sighed loudly, watching the trees out of the window. He had the most experience with newborns, he had to train them in his earlier years of vampirism, "Insane with thirst."

"Something to look forward to." Emmett smirked and rubbed his hands together, Arlina turned her head to him and raised her eyebrows as if to ask 'are you serious?'. He gave her a 'what?' look and she just scoffed.

"No one's trained these newborns, but this isn't random." Jasper told Carlisle, who looked stuck in thought. The slightly older vampire held his interlocked hands towards his mouth and looked at his blonde adoptive-son.

"Someone's creating an army." He spoke, a frown stuck onto his face. Arlina couldn't help but worry, maybe she should tell the Volturi and let them deal with it? Or maybe she shouldn't get involved until it causes danger to her family? She didn't know what to do, so she decided to just go along with Carlisle's decision until something changes.

"Well, now we're definitely going to Seattle." Emmett stood and jumped off of the couch, fixing his belt around his jeans and smiled cheekily at Arlina, who rolled her eyes playfully. More trips.

"An army of vampires?" Bella questioned and Arlina moved to stand beside her, interlocking their arms with a sweet, reassuring smile that everything's going to be perfectly fine.

"And they've been created to fight someone." Jasper raised his eyebrows once and scoffed lightly under his breath, he knew they were created to fight him and his family.

"We're the only clan even close to Seattle." Edward stated and Arlina rolled her eyes at how much he was just stating the obvious.

"Regardless of why they were made, if we don't put a stop to them, the Volturi will." Carlisle spoke and nodded to his family, and Bella, "i'm surprised they've let it go on this long."

"Should I inform Alec?" Arlina questioned with a soft look on her face and Edward immediately shook his head.

"No, maybe they're behind it." Edward suggested and Arlina shook her head, knowing they wouldn't do that, despite Arlina's protests, Edward continued, "In Italy, I read Aro's mind. He wants me and Alice to join him, but he knows we'll never choose him as long as our family's still alive."

"An army could solve that for him." Jasper added.

"No, I highly doubt they would do that. I got to know a few of them on my trip and they aren't going to execute this entire family just so they can acquire Edward and Alice." Arlina explained, but nobody was listening to her, she scoffed lightly when everybody looked away as if they didn't believe a word she had said, "I bet it's Victoria."

"We already ruled her out." Edward told her and Carlisle watched them both with questioning looks, knowing a feud was coming.

"Maybe you're wrong, you all just hate the Volturi so much that you can never see past their negative traits." Arlina argued, holding Bella close and Edward scoffed, looking at her as if she was stupid.

"They tried to kill Bella, Arlina. Don't be fooled by their bogus charity." Edward shook his head in disbelief.

"Whatever, Edward. Goodbye, Bella." Arlina patted Bella's arm with a smile before removing herself from the room, not wanting an argument with anybody. She could feel the heat rising throughout her body, so she rushing into her room and slammed the door closed, pushing her self down onto the floor against a wall. If she was human, she would definitely be having a panic attack at that moment.

"Arlina?" Emmet questioned from the other side of the door and Arlina sighed into her arms that were propped up onto her knees, "I know you probably want to be alone right now, but I was thinking about going on a hunt. Wanna come?"

It was quiet for a few seconds whilst Arlina took time to think, she wanted to stay where she was to stop her from causing danger to herself or anyone else, but she knew she could never cause any harm to the one person who helped her become who she was that day. With a swift pull of her body and wipe down of her black skinny jeans, she exited the bedroom and smiled at her brother.

"What are we hunting?" The redhead asked as they made their way down the steps and out of the house, she ignored the glare from Edward on their way out but Emmett, however, sent a glare back, causing Arlina to smile at him in gratefulness.

"You up for hunting a grizzly bear?" Emmett asked and Arlina laughed, nodding her head. She noticed that every time they hunted, he would always choose to hunt a bear other than a deer or a rabbit, "First to find one wins!"

The big, burly, twenty-year-old child sped off into the woods, and Arlina laughed once more with a shake of her head before she ran off after him, on a hunt for a huge bear.
