ARLINA AND ALICE DECIDED TO VISIT CHARLIE SWAN THE DAY BEFORE THE FIGHT, they were stood on the porch steps when Bella parked up and got out, looking at them with a confused expression. Alice giggled and Arlina smiled wide, Charlie just looked at them, amused.
"Yes. Scout's honour." Alice told him with a sweet smile and Charlie nodded.
"Okay, girls, don't be strangers." Charlie told them both as they walked off, and the two laughed simultaneously.
"Okay." Arlina hummed, smiling back at him as he waited for Bella to walk over. Alice stood in front of Bella, and the redhead followed after, standing beside her sister.
"Your alibi for the battle is all arranged." Alice told the Swan girl with a cute grin.
"Really?" Bella questioned, her eyes lighting up in shock.
"We told your father that our whole family's going camping this weekend, so us three are having a sleepover at our house." The smallest girl looked over to her sister and giggled, and Arlina smiled back with a short chuckle.
"Charlie's going fishing anyway." The aforementioned girl added, waving off some of Bella's worries and the human girl nodded curtly, glad her dad wouldn't be concerned about where she was.
"Charlie?" Bella scrunched her eyebrows, confused and she scoffed with a smile, "You guys are on first name basis now?"
"Us, he likes." Alice gestured between the two with her pointer finger and Arlina suddenly moved forward to hug the brunette, smiling into her shoulder before she pulled away, standing beside her with her arm over her shoulders, "Actually, you and Edward will have the house to yourself tonight."
Bella was shocked for a minute and hesitated as she spoke, "L-Like alone?"
"We're all going hunting. Powering up for the battle." Alice laughed at Bella's nervousness, the human chuckled and scoffed, excited for what the night would bring, "You're welcome." Alice raised her brows at the girl before she skipped over to Arlina, hooking their arms and pulling her over to the vehicle they drove over there.
"I wonder what they're going to do." Arlina wiggled her brows at Alice, who laughed as she started up the car, pulling out of their parking spot and driving into the road.
"I'm not telling you." Alice put her finger on her lips, gesturing she was going to keep silent and Arlina groaned, leaning her head back.
"Come on, just tell me, A!" Arlina begged and Alice shook her head at her.
"No can do, sorry, Lina." Alice smiled widely at the redhead, who was glaring daggers at her playfully. They spent the rest of the ride giggling and gossiping, preparing themselves for the chaos they had the next day.

"DO YOU GUYS EVER, LIKE, JUMP WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR?" Arlina asked her family members that were looking around the woods around her and Emmett chuckled, confused at the random question, "What? I'm serious."
"I can't relate, I check myself out every chance I get." Emmett smirked, and scrunched his eyebrows towards his wife and best-friend when they both scoffed. Rosalie punched his arm with a laugh at his cockiness and ran off, looking for a deer.
"You're an odd guy." Arlina exhaled, and her eyes went dark when she heard a twig snap in the distance, she turned her head rapidly and Emmett followed her actions, looking around too.
A big, brown, grizzly bear stood in the opening of the forest, scratching at a tree and unaware of the predators watching him. The two vampires looked at each other with knowing glances before they nodded and slowly moved forward. With a quick leap, they sunk their teeth into the bear and drained it of its blood.
The bear laid limp on the ground and Emmett wiped his mouth being known for being a messy eater, "Take that, bitch!" Emmett pointed at the bear, it slightly reminding him of the bear that had ended his life and Arlina laughed.
"Have you ever heard of an Andean Bear before?" Arlina questioned as she crushed the leaves beneath her feet gently, enjoying the satisfying sound of them ripping apart.
"No, what's an Andean Bear?" Emmett scrunched his brows and Arlina chuckled, unsurprised that he wasn't educated on the different species of bears.
"It's a Spectacled Bear. It's the last remaining short-faced bear and it's illegal to kill them." She explained, the dark night's wind blowing through her red hair and Emmett followed behind her, walking through the grass that stuck up from the ground.
"Wow, didn't know that, what other bears are there that I don't know about, smarty pants?" He nicknamed and Arlina laughed lightly before she thought of other species of bear.
"Sloth bear?" She glanced back at him and he shook his head, allowing her to continue, "They live in Sri Lanka, India, Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh. They can be heard sucking up termites from miles away."
"Interesting, where'd you learn this?" He nodded, watching his feet crunch the grass beneath him.
"I'm not actually sure, must be something to do with my human life." The redhead shrugged and smiled, they heard another twig snap and they snapped their heads in that direction, catching sight of a huge brown deer, "Race you!"
She sped over with a giggle and he groaned, running after her, but before they could catch ahold of the animal, Rosalie jumped in and bit the deer, stealing their prey.
"Rose!" Arlina stood and glared with a lingering grin and Rosalie finished, looking up at her with a laugh.
"Sorry, little sister." Rosalie stood up and wiped down her jeans from dirt, "Oh crap, there's grass stains on my pants."
"I'll help you remove them." Emmett wiggled his brows towards his wife and Rosalie smirked as he moved closer to her, wrapping his arm around her.
"Ew, guys, get a room." Arlina grimaced, turning around to give them privacy and she heard them both chuckle before they kissed each other, causing the youngest Cullen to smile lightly, happy for the cute couple that she aspired to be like one day.
