ARLINA, EMMETT AND JASPER WATCHED AS EDWARD AND BELLA SAID GOODBYE TO CHARLIE, and Arlina waved to the cop, him smiling in return. She felt sorry for him, he was just worried about his daughter and didn't want anything bad to happen to her.

"Well done, Bella. Never seen a newborn show that kind of restraint." Jasper praised, his hands in his pockets and he held a smirk.

"I'm not sure she is a newborn. She's so... tame." Emmett spoke mischievously and Arlina bumped her shoulder into his, telling him to stop it and he looked over at her with raised eyebrows, "What?"

"Emmett, don't antagonise her. She's the strongest one in the house." Edward scolded and Arlina nodded in agreement. Emmett snorted and cracked his knuckles.

"Please."

They all stood in an opening in the forest and Emmett carried over a huge rock, placing it down in front of Bella with a thud.

"Don't hurt yourself, Emmett." Arlina joked and Emmett sent her a playful glare. The two strongest vampires rested their elbows on the rock and intertwined hands, ready to arm wrestle.

"All right. On three. One, two... three!" As soon as Jasper spoke his last word, Emmett began grunting almost immediately.

He grunted the whole time, clearly struggling to take Bella on and the aforementioned girl laughed lightly at his struggle. He almost got her but she pushed back, and eventually knocked his hand into the rock, breaking a few pieces off.

"Did you see that?" Bella asked her family as she laughed, and everyone applauded although they knew what the outcome would be. Alec hollered with one hand around his mouth and the other gripped on Arlina waist, and she giggled lightly.

Bella began punching the rock and she broke it into pieces, causing Arlina to laugh loudly, cheering her on, "Go Bella!"

RENESMEE WAS GROWING IMPECCABLY FAST, and the Cullen family wasn't sure just how much time they'd have with her. It made every moment all the more precious, so that morning before Renesmee went out to go snowflake catching with Jacob and Bella, the young girl sat on Arlina's bed with the said blonde and Alec.

Renesmee sat in Arlina's lap, looking through her sketchbooks and admiring the drawings, while Alec sat beside the girls, his arm around Arlina.

"Wow, that one is so pretty, Aunt Arlina." Renesmee complimented, pointing at a bouquet of pink and yellow roses that Arlina couldn't remember drawing.

"Thank you so much, Ness." Arlina leaned forward and she kissed Renesmee's temple. The young girl giggled in response and then continued to look through the pages before she closed it and looked at the two vampires before her.

"How did you guys meet?" She asked and Alec looked over at Arlina, nodding at her to explain and she smiled softly.

"Well, your daddy thought your mommy had passed away, and he wanted to pass away too, so he went to the leaders of the vampires, who are called the Volturi." Arlina glanced over at Alec, who tensed slightly at the mention of them but she reached up and held onto his hand that was resting on her shoulder, giving it a squeeze to reassure him, "Uncle Alec is apart of the Volturi coven, so when Auntie Alice, your mom and I went to save your dad, I met him."

"What was your reaction?" Renesmee tilted her head to side, causing her long hair to fall onto her arm and she held a small smile that made Arlina's heart squeeze. The sound of knocking erupted at the open door and the three looked over, watching as Bree walked in, holding a grin.

"Yeah, what was your reaction? I'd like to know." Bree giggled with Renesmee and sat on the end of the bed with her legs criss-crossed and Arlina smiled before continuing.

"At first, I thought Alec was scary, mostly because he looked quite terrifying with his intimidating glare and bright red eyes." She felt Alec tense once again, so she smiled and continued, "But as I looked at him, like really looked at him, I realised that under his dark, scary gaze, he was actually a very calm, and friendly guy. And let's not forget extremely handsome and good-looking."

Alec chuckled and looked down at his hand, Renesmee and Bree both laughed lightly and Arlina smiled at them.

"What was Uncle Alec's first reaction?" Renesmee looked over at the witch twin and Alec scrunched his brows for a second before he began to grin.

"To be honest, I thought she was an angel from above, the angel that would come and save me from the hell I was living in with people who were using me for my gift. Arlina was absolutely ethereal like always, she had long red hair and striking golden eyes, she caught my attention immediately after she walked in." Alec grinned at the memory and Arlina smiled over at Bree, the two girls internally giggling with each other.

"What happened to your red hair?" Renesmee looked over at Arlina and reached out, pulling at the ends of the girl's blonde waves.

"The blonde isn't real, so the red hair will be back." Arlina confirmed and Renesmee nodded excitedly.

"Ness! It's time to go!" Bella called from downstairs and Renesmee nodded, glancing over at the hallway and smiling at the three vampires that surrounded her.

"I'll see you all later, love you!" Renesmee scrambled to get off of the bed and Alec kissed her cheek on her way out.

"We love you too, Ness." Arlina waved to her from the bed and watched as she waved back and exited the frame.

"She's growing too fast..." Bree gave a sad look and fiddled with her hands, the two mates agreed silently.

"Where have you been?" Arlina asked, breaking the sad mood and she wiggled her brows towards her sister.

"I've been with Seth... We went cliff jumping, it's so fun! I understand why Bella almost killed herself to do it now." Bree giggled and Arlina raised a brow with a smile.

"Sounds exciting." Alec commented, looking out the window and watching Renesmee walk into the snowy forest with Bella and Jacob in his wolf form.

"Very. I even talked to Leah, and she was nice to me!" Bree did a little dance of celebration and Arlina laughed softly, pretty surprised that Leah was nice.

"Well, who couldn't be nice to your cute little face?" Arlina reached forward and grabbed her cheeks, and Bree slapped her hands away with a playful glare.

"Arlina! I'm not a baby." Bree scoffed lightly and her lips upturned slightly.

"Don't worry, she does it to me all the time." Emmett told them as he passed their door, holding a basket of laundry in his arms and Arlina snorted.

"Well, the difference is that you're actually a baby!" Arlina yelled at him from across the house and he scoffed loudly, causing the three to laugh.

"I second that!" Rosalie called from her bedroom and the three laughed even more, enjoying moments like this with their family.
