ARLINA WATCHED FROM BESIDE ALICE AS EMMETT WAS FLOWN ACROSS THE DIRT, the burly boy immediately stood up, staring back at Jasper, "Again!"

A car drove up the dirt road, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and set their attention on the vehicle. It stopped, and Edward got out along with Bella, the two connecting hands when they met each other at the rear of the Jeep.

He held up her wrist, inspecting the wolf bracelet she was wearing, "It's a graduation present." Bella told him and looked to the ground, but he just stared at her, confused and boiling with anger.

They all turned to look at trees, watching as the shapeshifters, in their wolf forms, began to descend from the forest slowly and wearily. Arlina could understand why they were so fearful and why they had to take precautions, so she nodded at Sam Uley, the pack leader, showing him her respect.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward told Carlisle, latching onto Bella's hand tightly.

"They came. That's what matters." Carlisle held his hands behind his back and began to walk forward, "Can you translate?"

Arlina and Alice moved to stand beside Bella and they both smiled at her softly, earning a tight-lipped smile in return.

"Welcome." Carlisle clapped his hands together gently with a reassuring smile and he held his arm out towards Jasper, "Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them."

"They want to know how the newborns differ from us." Edward informed everyone and Carlisle nodded.

"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle looked back at Jasper, and the two nodded at each other before the older vampire began to walk back over to Esme and Jasper moved forward, taking Carlisle's spotlight.

"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army, but no human army could stand against them." Carlisle told the wolves and he began to turn his body towards his family, now talking to everyone that surrounded him instead of just the wolves, "Now, the two most important things to remember are, first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly and second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that and you will lose. Emmett."

Emmett and Jasper moved over to the space in the dirt opening, and everyone moved back, weary of the wolves as they did. Arlina turned back, smiling at all of the shifters and they all turned to her, growling, causing her to look back.

"Don't hold back." Jasper told the bigger Cullen and Emmett smirked.

"Not in my nature." Emmett moved from standing on one foot to another, getting himself prepared for the fight. He ran forward at full speed towards Jasper, who held his arms out with a smile while Emmett knocked into him and threw him into the air.

The two ran at each other once again and Jasper threw Emmett to the ground, smirking down at him, "Never lose focus."

Edward stood there next, fighting Carlisle. They ran at each other at full speed and Edward jumped at Carlisle, but the older Cullen slid underneath him, causing dirt to fly everywhere, getting into Arlina's eyes. They ran at each other again, holding onto each other and Jasper circled them, watching intently.

Edward thought he won when he knocked Carlisle to the ground and looked over at Jasper who walked over, "One more thing." He told him and Carlisle jumped up, knocking Edward to the ground, "Never turn your back on your enemy."

Arlina walked up next, and Jasper wiggled his two fingers towards him with a smirk, she began throwing punches at him and he dodged every one before he threw her into the air, her spinning and landing on her hands and feet. She looked up at him, and ran at him, flipping him over her head and he landed on his feet, running at her from behind. The redhead turned quickly and began moving backwards every time he tried to grab ahold of her. Eventually, he managed to grab her and he held her to the ground by her neck, seemingly too tightly.

"Okay, Jasper, that's a bit too tight." She clawed at his hand and he immediately let go, mumbling 'sorry' to her repeatedly, causing her to chuckle lightly, "It's okay."

Alice was next and the couple smirked at each other, he went to grab her and she moved out of the way, she dodged every punch and swing he tried to land on her and stood a few metres away from him. He ran at her and she did a cartwheel, landing on the other side of him.

Jasper managed to grab her by her arms and held her chin, about to kiss her before she moved out of his grasp, hitting him and jumping into the tree. He looked around and the small girl landed on his back, quickly pecking him on his lips. She moved away from him and stood beside Arlina, smiling cutely.

"You two are beyond adorable." Arlina complimented, practically melting, she loved watching the two lovebirds interact.

Everyone else took their turns, even some of the wolves. But Jasper, most of the time, beat every one of his opponents with a smirk plastered on his face. When they decided they were done for the day, Arlina watched the pack leave and nodded at Sam Uley as he left, he nodded back at her and ran off into the forest. She took that as a win in her books and ran over to Emmett and Rosalie, joining in on their conversation about jewellery.

"You should definitely buy her that ring." Arlina told Emmett, and Rosalie smiled at her, nodding excessively. The Cullen boy shook his head, throwing his head back.

"But I like the emerald one!" He exclaimed, frowning at them but the two girls just laughed at him.

"The emerald one is ugly, Em." Rosalie told her husband with a scoff and a slight smile, and Arlina chuckled.

"It really is." The redhead backed up the blonde, and Emmett looked at the two, feeling betrayed by Arlina.

"Whatever. I guess I'll buy the ruby one." He rolled his eyes, walking away and Rosalie giggled, running over to him and jumping onto his back.

"I love you!" She laughed out, and Emmett moved her so she was latched onto his front, the two exchanging kisses. Arlina took that as her leave and went off to find Carlisle and Esme, but she couldn't find them anywhere so she assumed they were having alone time together.

She made her way back to the empty house and into her bedroom, lunging herself onto her bed with a huff. Arlina looked over at her nightstand in thought, before she reached over and quickly opened the drawer, grabbing her phone out of it and called Alec, awaiting for him to answer.

"Hello, love." Alec spoke on the other line and Arlina couldn't help but smile wide.
