I enjoy my life
It's something I treasure
With my life
I thought I'd be forever
And everything I've built from the ground up
Would always stay around
Like how the way of the Romans
Built its society
Onto the people they'd look down
I thought I'd outlive the legacies
Poured onto my reputation
Outlive them like how a child
Outgrows it's imagination
I thought that maybe my importance
Was more than just my presence
And all the things I've said and done
Was more than just pretentious
But I guess I knew
That one day I'd leave my world
Leave my high school to all of the untold
But no one told me it'd all end abruptly
The journey so slow but end so scary
It was all so all of a sudden
All of a sudden from the past three years
One more left and the end is near
All of a sudden our family is leaving
Leaving to college to continue their living
But all of a sudden it hits you like that
Hits you hard like those up to bat
And you knew it was coming
But all of a sudden
Everything you knew
Becomes a future to burden
