I appreciate the way my earrings make cool noises when I run

I appreciate blue dragonflies

I appreciate 3AM showers

I appreciate it when people actually try

I appreciate it when I'm treated with respect

But

I love the way you so gently but confidently stand at my side

I love the way you think

I love your handwritten letters

I love your writing written for me

I love it when you hold my hand

I love it when you're with me

And

I love you.

I love who you were

Who you will be

And who you are

I love you.

Not just the way you make me feel and think

Or the things you do for me
