Hey, it's Sophia. This oneshot is also a bit short, but once it is summer they will be longer. As always please comment if you have any requests, suggestions, or corrections as I am a bit of a grammar freak and would like to know if I could improve on something ( it won't hurt my feelings). I sat on the couch in my mom's apartment watching my fiancé , Annabeth, play with dolls with my little sister, Estelle. I loved watching them. After all, they were my two favorite girls ever (plus my mom). Annabeth and I were babysitting Estelle while my mom and Paul were on a date. It was their fourth anniversary and they wanted to do something special.
Estelle shrieked with laughter when Annabeth said something that she thought was funny. Annabeth turned to look at me, a smile on her face.
After a while, Estelle looked like she was about to fall asleep right on the floor, so I picked her up and set her on the couch. Her breathing slowed and she was asleep right away. Annabeth took my hand and sat on the couch next to me.
"Hey Wise Girl." I whispered.
"Hey Seaweed Brain."
I loved when she called me Seaweed Brain ( which was like always). Annabeth yawned and covered her mouth.
" I'm not that boring am I?" I asked.
Annabeth giggled and said," I could use a power nap right now."
" I thought you would never ask." I told her
I laid down on my side and she laid facing me. I wrapped my arms around her waist. I could feel Annabeth's warm breath on my neck and smell the scent of vanilla and honey. I began to rub circles on her lower back the way that she liked. Slowly her breathing began to slow down and her eyes drooped.
As she was drifting off, I whispered in her ear," I love you."
