Hey, it's Sophia. I haven't posted in like three weeks, but I decided to post again. I love the idea of Percy being a swiftie, so I decided to write a story about that. Hope you enjoy!
Percy's POV:
I sat in the driver's seat of my Toyota Corolla with Annabeth in the passenger side. We were driving back to New York after visiting her cousin, Magnus, in Boston to help him prepare for a quest. Taylor Swift's "Message in a Bottle" was playing on the radio and I sang along, belting out the lyrics loud enough to be heard in the next lane over.
"Cause you could be the one that I lo-o-o-o-ove. I could be the one that you dream o-o-o-of. Message in a bottle is all I can do-o, standing here hoping it gets to you." Annabeth swatted my arm playfully.
" You have many talents, but singing is definitely not one of them." She told me.
" Hey! That was rude, my singing is perfectly fine, I bet even Taylor Alison Swift herself would agree."
" I beg to differ."
" Hmph. Well as Taylor says, the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake. I shake it off. I shake it off."
" Okay, okay, will you stop singing now?"
"Never, ever, ever." I sang, Annabeth looked at me with an amused expression," We-e are never, ever, ever getting back to together. You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me, but we-e are never, ever, ever, getting back together. Like ever."
I looked over at Annabeth to see her banging her head on the glove box.
"Fine, I'm done," Annabeth looked up at me, " For now." I said, winking at her.
"Ughhh, Percy you are such a seaweed brain."
" You know you love it." I raised my eyebrows at her.
She shook her head," You're right, I do."
