Hey, it's Sophia! On Monday I have my math final and my English final the next day, so I may not upload another story for a couple of days, but after that I will have the entire summer. Please comment if you have any questions, requests, or corrections. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story!

Annabeth's POV:

One blustery winter day, as snowflakes danced lazily outside their window, Percy fell victim to a particularly vicious flu bug. His usual quick wit was dulled by a feverish haze, and his boisterous laughter was replaced by the occasional groan of discomfort.

As I watched him huddled beneath a mountain of blankets on the couch, his cheeks flushed with fever and his eyes dull with exhaustion, my heart ached with concern. Percy was usually the picture of vitality, his irrepressible energy a constant presence in our lives. Seeing him laid low by illness was a stark reminder of his mortality, and it filled me with a sense of unease.

Determined to repay his countless acts of kindness and support, I set to work tending to Percy's needs with the same methodical precision that defined my approach to everything else in life. I brewed pots of steaming hot soup, filled with nourishing ingredients designed to bolster his immune system and soothe his aching body. I fluffed pillows and adjusted blankets, ensuring that he was as comfortable as possible despite his obvious discomfort.

Percy grumbled and protested half-heartedly, but he was too weak to put up much of a fight. Instead, he surrendered himself to my care, allowing me to fuss over him with a mixture of exasperation and gratitude.

"You know," he murmured hoarsely, his voice barely above a whisper, "you don't have to do all this for me, Annabeth. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself."

I shot him a withering glare, though the concern in my eyes betrayed my true feelings. "Don't be ridiculous, Percy. You'd do the same for me if our roles were reversed."

He offered me a weak smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners with genuine affection. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks, Wise Girl."

Despite his illness, Percy's irreverent nickname for me never failed to bring a smile to my face. In that moment, I was reminded once again of why I loved him so fiercely, flaws and all. He may have been a stubborn, sarcastic pain in the neck at times, but he was also the most compassionate and caring person I had ever known.

As the day stretched on and Percy drifted in and out of fitful sleep, I remained by his side, offering comfort and reassurance. In those quiet moments of togetherness, I found solace in the knowledge that no matter what trials life threw our way, we would always have each other. Together, we were stronger than any illness, any obstacle, any challenge that dared to come our way. And as long as we had each other, I knew that we could weather any storm, no matter how fierce.

Again, please comment if you have any questions, suggestions, requests, or corrections. Hope you enjoyed!
