Hey, it's Sophia! I'm so happy because I got a 92 on my math final and a 98 on my English! Just a warning, this story is very sad. Anyways, please comment if you have any questions, requests, corrections, or suggestions. Hope you enjoy the story!

Watching Percy lying in the infirmary bed was like a dagger to my heart. His usually vibrant blue eyes were dull with pain, his strong frame reduced to mere frailty. But despite it all, his spirit remained unbroken, a beacon of strength in the darkness.

Will Solace, the camp's head healer, bustled around the room, checking Percy's vitals and adjusting his IV. He was a skilled healer, his hands steady and his demeanor calm, but even he couldn't hide the worry etched on his face.

"Will, how is he?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper, afraid of what the answer might be.

Will sighed, running a hand through his blonde hair. "He's stable for now, Annabeth. But it's going to be a long road to recovery."

I nodded, swallowing the lump in my throat. "Thank you, Will. For everything."

He gave me a small smile before leaving the room, leaving Percy and me alone once again.

I took Percy's hand in mine, the warmth of his touch grounding me in reality. "You're going to be okay, Percy," I whispered, willing my voice to sound confident despite the fear that gnawed at my insides.

He managed a weak smile, his voice barely a whisper. "As long as you're here, Annabeth, I know I'll be okay."

"You should get some rest, Annabeth," Percy insisted, his voice hoarse from exhaustion.

I shook my head, determination shining in my eyes. "I'm not leaving you, Percy. Not now, not ever."

He reached out, his fingers brushing against my cheek. "Thank you, Annabeth. For everything."

Tears stung my eyes as I leaned into his touch, the weight of his gratitude heavy on my heart. "Always, Percy. Always."

And so, we faced the days ahead together, hand in hand, hearts intertwined. Through the pain and the tears, the laughter and the love, I never left Percy's side. And as the days passed, I knew that no matter what trials lay ahead, as long as I had Percy by my side, I could face anything.

Will Solace, the camp's healer, became a familiar presence in our lives. His visits were filled with hope and encouragement, but beneath his professional facade, I could see the worry that clouded his eyes.

"Annabeth," he said one evening, his voice gentle, "Percy's progress has been slower than expected. We need to consider other options."

My heart sank at his words, fear gripping me like a vice. "What do you mean, Will? What other options?"

He hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "There are treatments outside of camp, more advanced medical facilities that might be able to help him."

I shook my head, my resolve unwavering. "No, Will. I won't leave Percy's side. He needs me, now more than ever."

Will placed a hand on my shoulder, his expression sympathetic. "I understand, Annabeth. But we have to consider all possibilities. Percy's life is at stake."

I swallowed back tears, the weight of his words crushing me. "I need some time to think, Will. Please, just give me some time."

He nodded, his understanding a silent comfort as he left the room.

Alone with Percy once again, I took his hand in mine, the touch of his skin a lifeline in the darkness. "Percy," I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion, "I don't know what to do. I can't lose you, not like this."

His eyes fluttered open, tired but filled with love. "Annabeth," he murmured, his voice barely a whisper, "whatever you decide, I'll be with you. Always."

Tears streamed down y face as I pressed a kiss to his forehead, the weight of his words a bittersweet promise. "I love you, Percy. More than anything in this world."

"And I love you, Annabeth," he replied, his voice barely audible above the steady hum of machines, "forever and always."

And so, as the storm raged on outside, I clung to Percy's hand, my love a beacon of hope in the darkness. Together, we faced the uncertainty of the future, knowing that as long as we had each other, we could weather any storm that came our way.

I'm going to be on a trip to NYC and the Caribbean and I won't have very good service, wifi, or time to write, but I am going to write a few stories ahead of time and schedule them to release while I am gone. Please comment if you have any questions, requests, corrections, or suggestions. I may not see them for a while, but when I get back I will look at the.  Hope you enjoyed the story!
