Annabeth's POV:
My eyes fluttered open and I saw streams of sunlight coming through the windows. The blankets were tucked up to my chin. I looked over to Percy's side of the bed, but he wasn't there.I climbed out of the bed and quickly brushed my teeth and ran my fingers through my hair.
As I walked to the kitchen the smell of partially burnt pancakes filled the air. I snuck up behind Percy and wrapped my arms around him.
He melted into my touch and said, " Good morning Wise Girl."
" Good morning Seaweed Brain." I replied, my voice muffled by his shirt.
" Don't set the smoke alarms off again." I warned.
" Why do you think I would do that?" He asked, sticking his bottom lip out in a pout.
"Maybe because last time you cooked you almost burned the apartment down."
" That was one time." He whined, while flipping a pancake.
I released my grip from his waist and brought my hands up to his face. He moved his head down and kissed me softly. Then he put a few pancakes on a plate and handed it to me.
" Milady."He said, as I took the plate.
" Thank you kind sir." I replied.
We went to the table and sat down. I took a bite of the slightly burnt, blue pancake (obviously it's blue).
"Not bad Seaweed Brain." I said.
" See, I told you I can cook."
"I wouldn't say that..." I replied.
" What is that supposed to mean?" He demanded.
" Let's just say I love you for your personality, not your cooking skills."
Again, please comment if you have and corrections, requests, or suggestions. Hope you enjoyed!
