Annabeth's POV:

The crisp autumn air greeted us as Percy and I made our way to his mom's apartment, hand in hand. The anticipation of spending time with his little sister, Estelle, filled the air with excitement.

As we entered the cozy apartment, the sound of laughter and the smell of freshly baked cookies welcomed us. Percy's mom, smiling warmly, greeted us at the door.

"Annabeth, Percy, it's so good to see you both!" she exclaimed, enveloping us in a hug. "Estelle has been looking forward to your visit all week."

Estelle, a bundle of energy and joy at three years old, came bounding into the room, her curls bouncing with every step. "Annie! Percy!" she squealed, running into our arms.

Percy scooped her up, swinging her around as she giggled with delight. "Hey Ellie! Are you ready for some fun?"

Estelle nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yes! Let's play tea party!"

With Estelle leading the way, we made our way to her room, where a colorful array of toys awaited us. Tea cups and saucers were set up on a tiny table, surrounded by stuffed animals and dolls.

Percy and I joined Estelle on the floor, pretending to sip tea and nibble on imaginary treats as she served us with all the seriousness of a seasoned hostess. Her laughter filled the room, a melody that warmed my heart.

As the afternoon sun began to dip below the horizon, Estelle's eyelids grew heavy with sleep. Percy gently scooped her up in his arms, her head resting against his shoulder as he carried her to bed.

With a kiss on her forehead, Percy tucked Estelle in, whispering a lullaby that had been passed down through generations. As he tiptoed out of the room, I couldn't help but admire the tenderness in his eyes, the love he had for his little sister shining brightly.

Back in the living room, Percy's mom smiled at us, her eyes twinkling with affection. "Thank you both for spending time with Estelle. She adores you."

As we said our goodbyes and made our way home, I couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these, moments spent with the ones we love most. And as Percy squeezed my hand, his smile lighting up the night, I knew that no matter what adventures lay ahead, we would always have each other.
