This was a total failure. The only person missing in the video was Phoebe Wild. Oliver and James Wild's only sister.... But that was because she was in England and moved there a few years before this gender reveal or anything. Totally not connected to William Sanchez or anything. She hasn't even been in the country since. I watched the video a few more times not to catch anyone acting but purely for the purity of the bond these people shared. The video started with a dull quality of the early 2000's cam recorder. It was a younger version of James Wild filming and asking who do they think it would be and everyone answered the same that they wish for a girl but they know it's a boy. The younger kids.. Mr. Wild not older than 12 and then mason, Luke, other boys all under the age of 5, all telling a girl as if they have enough boys. Mellissa Wild was the only one who knew and organized the party. Soon everyone gathered in the backyard and there were two balloons marked baby and baby 2. William and Violet together popped the first balloon and chaos rose as the blue glitter flew everywhere and everyone said happily they'd known it. And happily hugged each other and celebrated not bothering to burst the 2nd one. Luke Wild was the one who started complaining to burst the second balloon too as it would be unfair to the second baby. William said it's twin, it's gonna be twin brothers but The other children started to complain, just to see the glitter fly again so the couples came to the front again laughing and picked the pin.
Elizabeth screamed in excitement jokingly "I wonder what it could be" and everyone laughed, not knowing it was in fact a pink-Bella. Violet struck the balloon with the pin and pink glitter flew everywhere but it was pin drop silent. Like no one could believe their eyes. Everyone turned to Mellissa who had tears in her eyes and a big smile on her face as she nodded " it's a girl" she said and everyone screamed and jumped and kissed each other and embraced Violet. Everyone started crying...the grown up men and women shed happy tears and children ran here and there screaming and fist pumping. The whole scene was just so...pure and full of love ... .so much love that it started hurting to think about the fate these twins.. especially Bella encountered.
I closed the drive and laptop and looked at Mr. Wild who had fallen asleep beside me and thought about what Luke said. This much love within the family and to think the killer is one of them.. how is one supposed to believe that? How is Oliver or Mellissa supposed to believe any of that? No wonder Luke distances himself to the other corner of the country. How could you pretend to love someone who has taken a precious gift from you? Luke said Mr. Wild isn't strong enough to handle the pain that would come from what we are stepping in but he has not seen Mr. Wild protecting and holding his family together. He hasn't seen Mr. Wild being the strong standing pillar that supports the whole family. He thinks Mr. Wild is nothing without his name but It's Mr. Wild who is holding that name to power....It's Nathan who is carrying the legacy of Wild by doing everything he can. Nathan is much stronger than What Luke has seen. Just because Nathan isn't fighting crimes and personally involved in the underground world doesn't mean he is a coward. Nathan Wild so much more than the mien he shows the world and Luke. And there is no way I would betray him or his precious trust. If he has to break down while finding out our nephew and get justice for his sister then I will hold him together. If he needs anything I will support him. If he weakens I will make him stronger. Luke had no right to exclude his family for whatsoever his reasons were. They all were equally Thomas and Bella's family, if not definitely William's family longer than Luke ever had been. He had no right to do it all alone. And it's time he realized that he has 3 other brothers and a set of others too...to carry the burden together.
It's something Violet Sanchez said in the gender reveal video when she announced the Twin's names...that caught my attention..." it's not what we do for the dead, not in the honor of living for them, not through them but how we live to fight for us that they hoped for" . I could say Violet Sanchez was a woman of wisdom. And she wouldn't have wanted to ever see how broken her family has become. Because I could tell upon one month of living in that house ... .that it was near to dead. Elizabeth Wild, James Wild's wife, visited Mary just Once and offered her condolences and that's it...and even their meeting looked so broken. Like both Elizabeth and Melissa wanted to say much more but a wall was built well in between. The families once united were now broken. And this was so much more deeper than who killed the Twins. And Luke Wild knows the answer to all.....only if the Asshole could tell us instead of trying to be a hero. This all has to end. I know nothing can come close to what the gender reveal party held but there has to be a somewhat similar bond still present among them all.
I slipped a note to Mr. Wild so that he isn't worried when he doesn't find me in my room in the morning but I need to hear something from my own ear...even if that means to terrorize an innocent teenage girl.
With that I go to my room and take a quick shower, grab a new outfit and search for public high school and hire a cab to get there. It was already dusk by the time I arrived there. I have to catch the Hailey girl before she gets into the school. Soon the students start arriving but I keep my focus on as I sit by a bench near the parking lot. It would be great if I knew which grade she was in and directly asked the students. But I neither know her grade nor surname. I stay there almost till the end and some of the kids start giving me eyes. I know I might look like a criminal or stalker but I won't see these kids again anyways. We live at different ends of the country.
" Who are we exactly looking for? Allison Wild or Hailey?" Suddenly a voice came from right above my right ear and I snapped my head. I was half expecting Luke to be here again but instead it was a girl, who must be going to the same school and damn she was beautiful!
It was her hair that stood out the most. The beautiful shade between ginger and brunet and blond.. such a texture and color I couldn't get an exact name...does it even have a name? And her eyes had the teal blue shade.. the perfect bright shade between green and blue, a clear fair skin with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen with a dimple on her left cheek. What would it be to be this beautiful and full of life? She looked so beautiful and happy and for a moment I felt lost in her. I had to snap my head to get back to reality.
"What do you mean by that? Are you ..their friend?" I asked her.. there is no way anyone other than Hailey could know how I look.. unless Hailey sends her to talk to me.
"I am a friend. The question is why are you here stalking and haunting an innocent girl? Didn't Luke warn you to stay away?" The girl spoke as she sat beside me on the bench, totally unguarded, as if she had nothing in the world to fear. But how does she know all this?
" How did you know about this? Where is Hailey? I seriously mean no harm to her or Allison. I just want to talk. It can happen right here. Just five minutes would also be enough. Please. I can't leave without answers" I plead her which results in her smile vanishing for a brief but it was back again in no time.
"Ask me then, I know as much as Hailey does. I am really close to Luke too and know everything. You can ask me instead. There's no need to trouble Hailey. She already has a lot on her plate" the girl says with full determination...like she does know everything and just as she said and yet again smiles..my mind went blank.. what was I going to ask Hailey?
The girl looked at me for a few more seconds than spoke," I'd trust Luke with blind faith...if that's what you were trying to ask Hailey. Luke is a good man and will always protect her family. He takes great care of Zach, Hailey, Hailey's little sister , me and many more people. He's the guardian we never had. So if you were going to ask Hailey if you could trust Luke...you should. Have a nice trip" the girl said as she stood, planning to leave.
"Why doesn't he trust his brother enough to share the burden?" I asked her before she could leave and the question made her freeze and slowly her happy smile shifted to a sad one and she shook her head
"You got the question wrong Natalie ...He trusts them both more than enough to leave his entire family on their shoulders. He trusts them enough to know They'd protect his family no matter what while he protects.. from distance. Marry Nathan and follow his plan. Once you become a Wild you will too fall under their protection. I'm getting late for my class. From what Luke told me you must be leaving today. Have a safe trip. I hope we meet soon...in better conditions and by the way, your eyes are really pretty" She said as once again her happy smile returned and she made her way back to the gates while happily jumping as multiple people greeted her with warm smiles. I couldn't help but notice that everyone recognized her and sent a positive nod at her which she returned and not one person looked at her with any emotions other than happy pride and love. This girl was well loved by the people in her school and she definitely didn't look like any popular girl. This girl had a bare face devoid of any make up and a simple floral dress.
" What's your name?" I yelled before she was too far gone, another person who knew Luke deeply.
The girl turned around swiftly as her locks fell against her face and slid away, carried by the winds and she smiled brightly at me. She took a deep breath and yelled.
" My name is Allison Wild! Remember it well! You might need it one day!" She said with that teenage spirit and ran inside the school as the final warning bell rang. That beautiful polite girl full of life was Allison Wild!
