CHAPTER 27- NATALIE

Allison Wild lived up to her adopted name-Wild. We walked inside the building she seemed quite familiar with, happily greeting everyone and walking like bunny jumping just like a total happy wild child.

" Luke! I got her! Look at us! A mini family reunion!" she happily claims as she sits on a table, swinging her legs back and forth making Luke scowl.

" Don't you have some homework to do? Go away, you look far too happy for a situation like this" He says pushing her out of the room and finally saying what I have been thinking. Allison wink at me and mouths remember. And goes away as if she just didn't ask me to somehow betray her brother.

" Is she on some kind of medication that makes her high?" I ask Luke to which he just sighs.

" She's always like that, a happy child, smiling and laughing." he said as he sat on the chair across from me. " Now what do you want to know?"

" Everything"

"Define everything"

" Don't get on my nerves Luke! I swear I will beat the pulp out of you"

" No really, what exactly you want to know!"

" Who is behind all these? Victoria?" I asked and he chuckled.

" She wishes she was! No. like I said it's ... really complicated. If anything...telling you will make it more complicated. Are you sure you want to know?" he asked, making me more angry.

" I wouldn't be here if I didn't wanted -" I said but I was interrupted by Allison as she opened the door

" I am sorry for the interruption but Paddy wants to talk to you about something urgent. He's in the conference room" she said and Luke cursed.

" Wait here...I'll just wrap and come back" he said and left the room, leaving me in Allison's company.

" He didn't say anything to you, did he? Deflected and procrastinate right? He is not going to say anything beyond what you should know and that will stick only around Beatrice." she says as she walks towards me.

" Beatrice?" I ask

"Nathan's daughter's name. Don't tell me he didn't even tell you her name." she says as she grabs both handles of the chair I sat in as I leaned back

" Now the important question is ..how great are you at following rules?" she asked in a deep low voice, serious all of a sudden as her eyes held power

" I'll break it if it inconveniences me. Why do you ask?" I ask her instead in a whisper. The atmosphere was thick with tension and her position wasn't making it any easier until she smiled brightly.

" Want to break into a mafia club house and kidnap Nathan's daughter and Mason's son, then send them back to Connecticut? It will be dangerous and we might lose our limbs but I happen to know every route and everything to sneak in and get them out but I need someone else too ... Luke doesn't know about it. So? Want to know everything AND save the kids?" she asks as she walks back as if what she said was totally normal, an everyday conversation. I shook my head to stay on the topic.

" Why would you go against Luke and help me?" I am getting a bit too suspicious.

" We don't have enough time. Are you in or not? We gotta get out of here before Luke comes back" she says as she opens the door. Trust her or not? For all I know she could kill me. But there's no harm in trying right? At Least she's gonna get me something more than Luke is ever willing to give.

" Not trying to be a narcissist but If I were in your position I would have known my priorities straight" she says for the last time, giving me a push to decide.
