The commotion in the yard could be heard clearly inside the house. Jiang Lao, feeling down because of his daughter's situation, perked up at the sounds and went to the window to see what was happening outside. He saw Jiang Xiaosu and Gu Nuannuan chasing and tussling with each other. The butler stood beside him and explained, "Xiaosu started it."

Jiang Lao watched for a while and commented, "Nuannuan's got quite a temper, hasn't she?"

The butler replied, "If the second young lady didn't have a fiery temper, how could she be a match for the second young master? One's a tiger in character, and the other's nickname is 'Big Tiger.' They're a natural pair."

Jiang Lao continued watching for several minutes, not stopping until he saw his eldest grandson on his knees, begging for mercy from his daughter-in-law.

Wei Aihua also saw her son being beaten, but she merely glanced at it and then went back to her tasks.

After getting a beating, Jiang Xiaosu reluctantly took Gu Nuannuan to the garage to choose a car.

"If you're going to pick a car, pick one of your husband's. Don't touch ours."

"That black sedan looks pretty cheap. Go get it for me."

Jiang Xiaosu glanced at the car she pointed to, then turned to look at the girl who said that.

"Do you know what kind of car this is?"

Gu Nuannuan shook her head cluelessly. She could write a book on boxing techniques, but car names were a different story. "Two V's?"

Jiang Xiaosu facepalmed. He pulled her over to the car emblem. "Look closely."

Gu Nuannuan bent down and inspected the emblem. "Oh, there's a 'V' on top and a 'W' on the bottom. So what?"

Jiang Xiaosu, exasperated, asked, "Do you know which brand this is?"

Gu Nuannuan shook her head. "I see a lot of people driving cars with this logo on the road. It shouldn't be too expensive."

"Sis, remember this car is a Phaeton."

Gu Nuannuan nodded. "Is it more expensive than my husband's Ghost?"

"No, but this car is still over a million."

Gu Nuannuan looked the black sedan over. "Xiaosu, do you think your uncle got ripped off when he bought this car?"

Jiang Xiaosu sighed. "There's no hope for you."

Jiang Xiaosu surveyed the cars in the garage and finally said, "You know, you've got good taste. This is the one car you can afford to wreck."

He took out the keys. "Here, have at it. By the time my uncle gets back, this car might need to be sent to the scrap yard."

That evening, Mayor Jiang came home from work and saw the trampled flowers by the flowerbed. He asked the maid, "What happened to the flowers by the roadside?"

"The second young lady ran over them while learning to drive."

The mayor said nothing.

He noticed a fence around the fountain. "Why is there a fence around the fountain?"

"Second young lady is learning to drive. Young master Su ordered it."

Mayor Jiang entered the house and asked, "Where is everyone?"

"They're all in the backyard teaching the second young lady to drive."
