In just two days, Jiang Momo had filled four pages with notes. Whenever she couldn't distinguish between topics, she would memorize them again in her mind.

On the way back, Su Linyan would quiz her on the key points she had written down. Jiang Momo could answer them all correctly. Satisfied, Su Linyan dropped her off at home. "When do you plan to come home for the New Year?"

Jiang Momo replied, "Brother, I'm spending New Year's Eve at the Jiang family this year."

Su Linyan nodded, "That's fine. We'll all be at the hospital with Grandpa on New Year's Eve. You staying at the Jiang family's saves us some worry."

"But I'll come back by the third day at the latest," Jiang Momo said clingingly. She could only stay at the Jiang family's until the second day of the New Year; the third day was her limit. The Su family, including her parents, brother, grandparents, would be waiting for her to return.

She went back to the Jiang family's house with her books. The next day was the exam, and Jiangsu, lying in bed, was calmly flipping through his notes. Once he felt confident, he went to find his two sisters.

"Our exam numbers are sequential tomorrow. For multiple-choice questions, watch my hand signals. Left hand represents the question number, right hand represents the answer. One is A, two is B, three is C, four is D. For the long-answer questions, I'll write the answers on a tissue and toss it behind me for you two to copy."

Gu Nuannuan said, "Xiao Su, I can actually answer the questions this time."

Jiang Momo added, "Me too, I've got it down."

Jiangsu was surprised. These two, who usually relied on him to sail through exams, had actually studied hard for two days and now seemed confident?

Some girls placed their phones under their skirts. In winter, they wore thick clothes, and skirts covered everything when they sat down. Some girls hid their phones in knee-high boots. When they crossed their legs, the phone was visible, but with their legs down, no one could see it.

Gu Nuannuan noticed one girl's technique: she wore a big-sleeved down jacket with cheat sheets and a phone inside. A flick of her wrist brought the phone out, and a slight lift of her arm hid it again.

Boys weren't any less crafty. "Check out this new watch I bought for the exam. It syncs with my phone, so I can see messages directly."

"I stuck all the answers on tape and put it on my desk. The teacher won't notice."
